Great local, awesome selection of beers , Yeah Burger is amazing too great veggie option !! And occasional really good club nights in the basement if you're into your pop punk and 90s nostalgia :)
Great regular burger , really interesting veggie options including buttermilk fried tofu with three beet slaw
Great pub with a nice selection of beers . Pinball table in the back with a nice room available for private hire. 20% off drinks on a Wednesday.
Lovely pub and comedy venue. Some decent beers to choose from and excellent quality burgers , served nice and pink
The refurbishment at the beginning of the year has really turned this pub around. The drinks selection has improved, the food is great, and the staff are very friendly . Great pub all around!
Pricey for soft drinks ! But food was reasonable and delicious - I had the amazing 'eat your greens' salad . Also check out the comedy nights .
Great burgers but the plates are a bit small for how messy they are!
Actually really liked this pub actually nice friendly and not to busy early on a Friday evening :)
Seasonal scotch egg burger with chorizo is a must if you happen to be around there.
Decent enough pub , karaoke room upstairs and decent looking menu with a few vegetarian options . Interesting chips toppings!
Free refills on coffee 2 for 1 pizza on monday nights! The basement is also looking great and the live music nights are always worth heading down for!
Potentially a great venue for doing small scale events . The rental prices are decent as well :)
Great relaxed pub . Also does great comedy nights in the basement .
Looks dodgy but hosts the awesome Nu-Metal/Pop Punk night Last Resort which I can highly recommend.
Tuesday 6th May there is a Free comedy night downstairs (100% donations to The British Heart Foundation)
Nice bar , very good staff and nice basement to rent. Doesn't close late enough though!
Come to Paint Hockney on 7th July with @popuppainting! Painting for fun! :) http://bit.ly/11PTkZr
Slippery is the regular Thursday night downstairs here. Free entry to see top notch DJ's from the deep house/disco/tech house scene
Wonderful back area you can use for parties.
Check out the frequent comedy nights they put on here.
Large area with good beers
Great pub quiz on a Tuesday!
Great pub quiz on Tuesday's at 8
Sunday Roast was good - lamb was lovely and staff friendly
Pretty quiet and low key . It was fine, although the toilet was a bit too Spartan so to speak
Nice pub with a fun quiz, though the food isn't great.
Oh, and plenty of beer on tap ;)
Incredible food and lovely atmosphere, the refirb has definitely kicked in!
Come here for your weekly fix of house and techno on a Thursday, IT's FREE!!!
Seems to have sorted itself out. Good food, still no decent beer on tap though.
wicked good pizza !! & funktion one sound...cant go wrong really
Be very specific when you ask for an ale you *may* get a bottle of lager
Karaoke nights with a live band . Gotta be done once in your life.
50 year olds looking for company
Beers on tap taste terrible. Have the lines ever been cleaned ?
They sell Anchor Steam
Good beers but lack of sun!
It's ok, friendly staff
They operate a 10 at a time smoking policy, meaning you have to queue inside to smoke. The beer is awful. Bar staff are lovely, however
Wicked deep house night on a Thursday and it's FREE!
Great quiz night Tuesdays from half 8
Disco vibes...🎉
If only there could be more efficient staff at the bar ...
Looks and smells like a student pub , an attempt at shabby chic which hasn't really worked. Toilets from the bad old days of pub toilets .
Londonist's tip is out of date!
Blow out Sunday Roast ;)
No beer on tap , windows covered in chipboard and a lingering smell of creosote. We hope this place just opened before it was ready, and isn't cultivating this woebegone look on purpose.
The OG burger and the yeah fries and okami fries were great! They also have scotch egg burgers! - Clara Bayarri
Best pub near to Kings Cross, hidden away in a side street, with good beer and live music - Dan Calladine
Here all the way from Barcelona and they've Estrella Damm on. Never mind, as greatly compensated by superb selection and helpful staff who offer up tasters in wine glasses -- elegantly down-to-earth. - Robin Barden
A proper old school east end pub complete with a till that could be in a museum. The guy behind the bar is lovely and the atmosphere is cosy and friendly. Bring cash! - Natalie Clarke
Everyone is lovely! it is a good place to chill and have a beer - Lassla Esquivel
Great restaurants for the evening and KERB traders for lunch in a trendy open air location. Winning! - Will Pitchers
