Nice place to check out after a long day at the aquarium . Clam chowder bread bowl is the special and I would recommend it

We started with the calamari , had the clam chowder in the sourdough bread bowl with the cheese and garlic top , and got the chioppino with pasta . So good!

One of the best chowders I’ve had. You have to try the bowl with the cheese lid.

Skip or share the famous clam chowder (yes it's good) and get straight to chioppino seafood stew . Ask for extra oysters . Zesty and flavorful.

Came for the clam chowder but the whole menu looked great! The Boston pan bake was amazing! Gotta get it with the garlic cheese top :)

Great casual family Italian seafood restaurant . Best chowder In Monterey.

Forget about the menu, just get the chowder in a sourdough bread bowl with a cheese covered top. $12

The Clam Chowder in a bread bowl is fantastic. Vivolo's is a must stop for me and my family every time we visit Monterey.

Julia's seafood salad is overflowing with jumbo shrimp , bay shrimp and crab meat ; it is out of control delicious.

The parmesan crusted calamari steak is amazing! Would get multiple times over!

They had great chowder ( sanfrancisco style) with awesome lobster ravioli . I definitely recommend it

Of course they have great clam chowder but also try their Linguini Pescatori and/or Calamari .

Don't pass this place up! No frills great seafood .

Chioppino was tasty and hearty. Very casual place and open later than other places nearby.

Chowder ! Seafood pasta ! So good.

Food was good, at least what we were looking for. Staff seemed a little lost, overall a solid 3 out of 5.

Highway robbery and complete TOURIST TRAP! Clam chowder was decent but not worth it. Super tacky place!
