Good Tex-Mex spot with authentic salsa and excellent guacamole . Dark, yet thematic interior and large outdoor seating area that can accommodate groups. Margaritas are worth a trip.

Great Tenleytown spot for authentic Latin American cuisine . The quail is unique and a great complement to the grilled steak and Camerones.

Great atmosphere, drinks/food, definitely a must do. If street parking is unavailable, just go behind Guapo’s and park at Whole Foods for validated parking . I would rather pay for food than parking .

Best margaritas and steak tacos in DC. Tres Leches is amazing and simple as it should be.

Try the margarita with beer ! They do a great job of blending the margarita do it can absorb the beer without getting too weak.

This is my favorite place! They have the best frozen strawberry magaritas! BUT it happens way too often that I find bones in my food which is disgusting! :(

As a Central American living in DC, the food here wasn’t special. It was a small meal at a relatively expensive price. The best thing was the tres leches .

The margs are amazing and the cheese nachos are always perfect. Nicest waiters ever.

Decent food- Skip the Chile Rollenos though. Bland, the enchiladas are better!

Bad mexican food , I mean compared to what it can be... if you arrive alone and ask for a table for 6, for instance, they won't seat until more people arrive, passing everybody in front of you. Stupid.

The queso dip was simple, but not in a good way. The salsa was basically juice with a few chunks of tomato . The frozen margarita was OK.
