Electric Beach is a surf spot Kapolei located in United States.
Kahe Point Kapolei , HI 96707 United States
Little history on this little beach for you guys, back in the 70's and early to mid 80's this beach did not exist it was all reef and boulders, hurricane Iniki brought the sand in and made the beach .
Check the surf report before heading out if you're planning on snorkeling . Rough seas make it dangerous. Gorgeous setting and beautiful sunsets .
Great snorkeling ! Hundreds of species of fish to explore, cool tunnel reefs to swim thru, giant turtles to touch and no big crowds. Only negative is the ugly powerplant nearby.
The pipe for the warm water (and lots of fish ) is at the southern end of the plant (on the right as you look back at the plant from the ocean).
Check out the massive underwater pipe during your diving certification
one of my fav spots to go snorkeling ! don't go if you're not comfortable swimming 100ft + out into the ocean
Great for scuba and snorkeling . Always see turtles and dolphins . Keep away from the pipe though because of the current it creates.
Good all around beach , fishing , snorkeling , swimming , spearfishing. All can be done here
Beautiful, but small beach . It was fun snorkeling here and it's not super well known.
Really nice views of the mountains and ocean!
cool place for snorkeling . close to the only tropical ecosystem on the island
Crowded on the weekends, but it's great snorkeling nonetheless!
Nice little beach ; the plant in he background isn't great
Eat your breakfast it's a bit if a swim to the end of the pipes , but worth it. Still plenty fish on the way though!
Almost always see dolphins .
Most amazing hot dog stand is here on saturdays and Sundays from 11-5!!!!
Watch the sets carefully on high tide coming back in!
Swim to the power company hot water vent! Warm and lots of fish ! :)
Great snorkel , but could be a little deep for kids.
A great beach to snorkel at and spear fish .
Electric Beach
The shore break can be nasty, but once you are past it, it's smooth sailing .
Don't touch the turtles , it's harassment, it's illegal, & it could make them sick :(

Pillowy sand - Amy Grove
This beach is small and tucked away so there was not many people when we visited in high season -- hence private and quiet. Love it! - Andy Davidson
