Midtown Scholar Bookstore

A great hangout on a sunny afternoon or a rainy day: the Midtown Scholar has a large collection of both new and used books , hosts TED talks on certain Sundays, and has a lovely cafe with yummy coffee .

Book selection is INCREDIBLE, the staff is extremely friendly , and the cafés have fantastic food/drinks. Make sure you give yourself a few hours to explore here, you'll want to stay all day!

It's a gathering place, a book store gallery and coffee shop all rolled into one fine place. Find a rare book , a new favorite or art . Also they have Outofprint tshirts to show your love of literature.

Location of 2nd ever Occupy Harrisburg GA in October 2011 before we began protesting at our state capital. This evening we have a spoken word cafe . Great community hub for surrounding municipalities.

Found this place by accident and fell in love. You'll never know what you find on the shelves, but there's something for everyone. I found a bio of Fanny Kemble and a few travel memoirs.

Rare books collection is fantastic. The breadth of each genre is quite overwhelming .
