The food is out of this world, but this isn't your typical restaurant . They don't take reservations , there isn't a printed menu, and you get whatever the waiter offers you. Trust in their judgement!

Steak with strawberry cheese sauce is tasty. Cod is superb as well . Staff displayed excellent service as they were kind enough to split one bowl of soup to two bowls to make it easier for sharing :)

A great place for dinner right by The Red Light District. The soup was delicious, followed by steak with salad and fries . Can't go wrong with the apple pie ! Staff was incredibly friendly .

This was fantastic. There is no menu, so be sure to listen carefully to your server. I had Mussels to start and Veal as a main. Both were delicious, and despite not being told the price, reasonable.

Do yourself another favor. After you’ve arrived at 6:30pm and enjoyed an amazing meal, get the homemade pear pie to finish. I don’t know why anyone orders anything else!

There's no written menu and the food is different every day but everything is great. The prices are affordable (starters 7-8 €, main courses 15-20 €). Do have in mind there might be no vegan options .

One of the few places next to the Dam where you can actually have a tasty meal, no menu so pay attention when the dishes are laid out for you.

The meatloaf ! and the bacon covered dates with blue cheese dip for apps. Also got the veal and the beef entrees, both were amazing. Great service and great atmosphere in a cool part of town .

Great food, portions are medium. Steak main and shrimp starter was amazing. The restaurant is very small so there was a 20 min wait. The two staff are pretty busy attending to all the customers.

In contrast to the normal restaurant , you do not see any menu within the place. But waiters are very professional when helping you to choose your meal. As for the meals, they are perfect with one word

Not spacious but very cosy place !The staff is friendly , the menu hasn’t got many options but anything we tasted was delicious! Not too expensive ! It worth a visit!

This restaurant has no menu, the waiter will join at the table and tell you what’s available. Open all day from 11 till late. Reservations not necessary.

Probably the best pea soup I've ever had - super fresh, simple, delivered the true essence of the pea . Indonesian Meatloaf was also excellent. Friendly staff .

Cozy atmosphere , warm and personable service. No menu and limited but good quality options (2-3 main dishes, soup , salad ). Medium size portions. Great desserts and good coffee .

The MUST place for lunch/dinner in this center of Amsterdam. They are so hospitable , that will serve you even after 22 hours when the kitchen is formally closed. Moroccan chicken and salmon are great!

Had the “special” steak with goats cheese and strawberry jus. It was delicious ! The staff were excellent and the atmosphere great. Well worth a visit.

This is our bill (4 people) : the food is quite good however be careful with the prices (they only show you a price range for main dishes). 4€ water/6,25€ per person for tapas/20,5€ for their beef

When you go in, don't be surprised there's a queue waiting at the bar , but the waiting time is usually short and well worth it. Very good honest food with excellent staff !

So worth the wait! The food was incredible from the broccoli soup to the salad and frites . The filet with goat cheese and strawberry sauce was to die for.
