One of Rome's best gelato joints. Skip the desserts at the restaurant and end up here for a frozen mouthful of pineapple and ginger or chocolate infused with Lapsang Souchong tea . Read more
Just go and eat there. Million types of ice creams and very special ones. One can even find egg free and nut free ice cream here. The frontyard area to eat them is also very lovely
I usually have a bit of ice cream or gelato and have had my fill. This was not the case here. I ate the whole cone of hazelnut and chocolate , coffee gelato scoops of heaven in a heart beat.
Loved the fig ! The seating area outside is the cutest little space. Can't wait to go by and try the other flavored every day for the rest of my stay❤️
Best gelato laboratory in the neighborhood + Piazza degli Zingari, a charming square to enjoy it, are the perfect combo for a sweet break.
A trip to the (near) suburb of Prati is de rigueur for the most adventurous gelato flavors; Fatamorgana takes the prize for most out-there ingredients and combos—chocolate-tobacco; basil-walnut-honey.
Amazing gelato - must try the mint , vanilla and my husband loved the chocolate and the dark chocolate tobacco gelato . Really trendy area and great place to people watch .
Great. In June 2016, they didn't have the tobacco+ chocolate or basil & honey flavours. Still, lots of options and it's excellent. Gluten free , egg free, milk free, nut free & sugar free available.
Known as the best Gelateria in the city , but I disagree. There are so many other independent shops that will satisfy your gelato craving way more!
Best for out-of-the-box gelato flavours (try the basil nuts and honey , or the ricotta lemon zest ). Mostly Italians and right off a charming square .
A small family shop with a variety of gelato flavors. Basilic and dark chocolate just melted my heart.
The basil ???? and lavender flavour have been my favourite so far. Interested in trying the carrot cake .
Insanely delicious. Avacado mint wine with chocolate orange ... Almost sinful... Don't leave Rome without a scope of fatamorgana...
Must try for icecream fanatics! Incredible flavour combinations and the best lemon I had ever!
Everything is good but I think the fruit flavours like amarena-cherry-beer, passion fruit & peach-wine are extra-special. Not sweet, with little bits of fruit . Also, kind service .
A few novel flavours amid a wide range of the usual suspects. Scoops are on the small side, but price is usual €N+0.50 market rate. Enjoy your gelato in small piazza outside.
One of the best gelati I had in Rome, great selection with lots of mixes which made want to go back and try more. Good cones .
Crazy flavor combinations! Chocolate & orange is delicious, very intense; my fav is basil , honey & walnut - you can see tiny pieces of basil & crushed walnuts . Divine!
A must visit! A big variety with excellent flavors to choose from. Ricotta and coconut ice cream was really special.
Incredible gelato ! one of the best in Rome. Get any flavor that has black sesame in it. The mango is also delicious.
Awesome ice cream for cheap (€1 per scoop)! Try the Banana-Lime, Rosemary-Chocolate or the Rose Venere... very pure and sophisticated flavors, highly recommended!
Cute ice cream place with interesting flavors. Loved the thumbelina (rose )!
Best ice cream ever! Banana-lime was incredible also chestnut-murtile was something different from what you have already taste!
Oh my this is heavenly gelato . The flavors are interesting and varied. I loved the baklava flavor.
The tiramisu flavor is legit, and the pear flavor is the perfect balance between fruity and creamy!
Best ice cream I've had in Rome, so worth it! not expensive considering the great quality
Wonderful and delicious ice cream , very kind staff . Apple cinnamon and almond mix is lovely.
A place with various kinds of ice-cream, the best in Rome.. Mint ,milk, chocolate and apple are my favorites..
Try a cone combining a scoop of Pecorino and one of Basil . O.M.G.
Beautiful ice cream and flavour combinations that set it out from ALL the others in Rome ..
The Tinkerbell (rose , violet, walnut ) was excellent and paired very well with the extra-dark Venezuelan chocolate .
My loved ice cream in Rome. Great! Awesome! And so easy to understand for allergic people
If you love chocolate : the Madagascar chocolate is amazing.
great selection of gelato . the best I’ve had in Rome.
Charming square , nice staff ! Passion fruit was delicious, pistachio not as far as good as Giolitti's
Really good handcrafted icecream . You can even see the pistaccios in the pistaccio ice cream .
Coconut cream + fennel , honey , and licorice was my favorite gelato combo in Rome.
Pistachio and dark chocolate ice cream . Also great options for all types of intolerances.
Great gelato & reasonable prices. The Almond+Orange flavour is delicious????
Best gelato I had in Italy! Really dense and stringy.
Best gelati in the area. Try the baklava flavour. Very yummy. The basil , walnut and honey was a bit funky. :)
Kentucky is awesome. So many beautiful flavours.
Fantastic ice-cream tastes, like sunflower , coffee , beer or tobacco -- but all are worth trying!
Original and amazing flavors! Try the wasabi chocolate????

€2.50 for a small cone with 3 flavors! Sweetness of the gelato is perfect! - Fiona Leung
Pecorino & Gorgonzola are some of odd flavors to choose from. Pistachio is a bit on the savory side. They have a variety of single source chocolate flavors from specific beans. All scoops €1 each! - Foxxy B
Creative flavors! Marsala wine, dark sesame, green tea maccha... - Monica S
For the price of the audio guide you can bypass the line. We shared one for a total of 8€, well worth it to jump the queue and the audio guide was very helpful - Robert Atkinson
A great place. You should visit during day and during the night as well. - Batuhan Sarıtürk
Perfect place! There are couple good bars around and very crowded at night. You can also buy your alcohol from the market and enjoy the crowd free! - Esra
