John Prince Park - Custard Apple Trail

The Custard Apple Trail was the first nature trail developed in the County park system. The pond apple tree appears in large quantities throughout the wetland portion of this trail. Herons, egrets, osprey, marsh rabbits, and raccoons are daily visitors, as well as several ecosystems such as hardwood swamp, maritime hammock, pine flatwoods, and wet prairie. Admission to Custard Apple Trail is free for all those who visit.
