The permanent collection is always free and offers plenty to look at. The special exhibits are a little pricy , but admission is half price on Tuesday and Friday evenings!
This museum is a beautiful space and it has a great permanent collection which is FREE! But today I came for Monet's Early Years . My only regret is that I didn't come earlier. Fantastic.

World class special exhibitions , high quality general collection. The lunch buffet is great, and the outdoor garden is peaceful when it isn't super hot outside.
For free admission , the permanent collection merits a good hour. Bring a book to enjoy the fountains and garden around the premises.

I like this museum . I wish it were bigger, though. It always has great collections and is def worth the time to come here.
Salvador Dali's Invention of the Monsters is an amazing piece of work. Seek it out and there is a hidden figure towards the lower right in the painting !

Amazing collection. Only 1/3 of rhe collection is displayed. 2/3 is in the vault awaiting the opening of the new facilities in November.
I always adore the exhibits here. It's a favorite place to see travelling exhibits . I must say I enjoy watching the construction of the addition as it progresses.

This Louis Kahn designed building is a work of art itself. The Kimbell annex, designed by Renzo Piano, is set to open in 2013.
Free to the public! Great historical art to view in their permanent collection . Currently going through some renovation, but still awesome to look.
