our most favorite meal in CDMX (we liked some dishes even more than Pujol , which was great in its own way). standouts: avocado seed ice cream . cactus sorbet with salt. the "salbut".
If you don't get an reservation for dinner , come for lunch . Make sure to have them open the roof canvas for you for the beautiful weather. Recommend their tasting menu . Love their complimentary coffee
Absolutely wonderful. Every bite of food burst with flavor. The peanut bread was amazing. Don't miss the Cazuela de chocolate con helado de pinole for dessert . On my short list of world favorites.
Get the tasting menu . We missed it and came right before the kitchen closed, but we're able to get many of the plates off a la carte. The taste of Mexico is certainly exquisite in this restaurant .
We had 930 booking so ordered a la carte so not to be rushed. It didn’t leave us wanting. Highlights- sublime crab tostada , avocado tartare , cheesy rice w ant chorizo , and panna cotte to die for.
Amazing! Small and intimate establishment with fantastic food. High attention to detail, and small handcrafted menu. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and experience.
I don't get why people think this place is good. I thought I know good food and went to several other amazing restaurants in this city . But only 1 out of 5 dishes I thought actually tasted good.
Holy crap. The crab tostada is literally the best. Not on the prie fixe but on the ala carte menu. Also the soursop dessert was probably the best dessert I’ve ever had.
Honestly, just okay. For $450 USD for the tasting menu + wine for two people, you could get a much better Michelín Star experience elsewhere. The tasting menu was lacking inspiration with no surprises
This beautiful and incredible cactus ceviche with beet root and orange took my taste buds to a whole new journey. Order this before the main course!
Fish , tongue and squash are great dishes. Don't miss the chocolate rice and mango desserts . We ordered 3 desserts , but they brought us a 4th with a candle for a birthday and charged us for it...odd.
So unimpressed. Had avocado tartar , oyster mushroom app, beef shoulder, squash with mole . Didn't like any. Presentation was pretty but that's about it. Dessert was good, but not mind blowing.
Best food and drink tasting of my life. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice treat! My fav dish was the cured trout !
Although practically all dishes are very good, the tasting menu is ideal to learn a little bit about the many flavors and textures of Mexican cuisine . Not for children under 12 and closes on Sundays.
Everything was just unbelievable, and the red fruits dessert made my life incredibly better
All the food here amazing! They brought us different dishes and one was better than the other. The service was great too, they explain what each thing was and kept coming back to serve us more water.
Amazing service, but the food is not special in this humble New Yorker’s opinion.
Fantastic, everything delicious, fresh, unique and of very high quality. Every dish has is made with care and attention. Exceeds expectations.
Go here to experience the latest take on ultramodern Mexican cuisine . Order from the tasting menu . Ask for a table under the skylight in the garden-like back room.
Order the tasting menu . It’s totally worth it. Each dish was delicious and beautifully plated.
Everything was delicious. Pairing with the tasting menu was one of the best I’ve ever had.
Outstanding! Loved the option to order a la carte and thought the jaiba tostada was amazing. Try the Mexican wine too!
At this Polanco hotspot, chef Jorge Vallejo’s delicate dishes look like floral arrangements. Fried huauzontle is served with cheese from Chiapas; chilacayote squash is drizzled with mole .
Fantastic, everything delicious, fresh, unique and of very high quality. Every dish is made with care and attention. Exceeds expectations.
Phenomenal - the braised oxtail tacos and uchepos incredible!!
Escamoles were the best I've ever had. Mexican delicacy!
OMG just wonderful experience. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've ever had.
Really cool dishes and great service. Not crazy expensive given the quality.
The famous huauzontles are great! Do a la carte.
Catch of the day (bass) with burnt chipotle, squash and pineapple
The green theme to the décor keeps the restaurant feeling as bright , modern, and un-stuffy as the food. Read more
Tasting menu is the way to go! I liked Quintonil more than Pujol ????
One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. They can accommodate vegans !
Excellent service combined with delicious Mexican cuisine . Everything I had was outstanding.
Good tasting menu . Wines are delirious and at very reasonable price. Love it.
One of the world best 50 rated.
Tasting menu plus alcohol pairing! Absolutely delicious
Tasting menu is really good. Escamoles are outstanding.
Without a doubt the best restaurant I’ve experienced in Mexico City - the food was astonishing and the service was impeccable. Will definitely go back. The ant eggs are delicious- be sure to try them!
Tasting Menu , all the way!
Complimentary frozen mango ceviche .
Whenever you want a real treat come and enjoy great food & great services at Quintonil
Must-do find dining experience in a non-stuffy setting
Simply amazing. Do not miss a visit here.
A most impressive tour de force of the Mexican culinary new wave.
Been to twice, nice atmosphere, good food.
Go for the tasting menu !

Get crab , it's delicious...
Expect the tasting menu to take up to three hours.
Loved it! The pig jaw is terrific, make sure to save room for dessert. If they have the panna cotta you will be amazed!!!! - Ale Estrada
Casual spot with all the finesse of a fine dining establishment. Tamales, tacos, and guisados are satisfying and hearty, larger plates excellent. Get the crème brulée rice pudding for dessert. - Amber
One of the best meals of my life. Choose the soft shell crab, and when you get the mole ask the waiter to pair a mezcal with it. - Paull Young
The Maya and Azteca rooms are the best ones, however the entire museum is really a must, very well organized and unique collections - Ricardo Villafane
The drinks are good and very original. The attention is very careful and in general the atmosphere is relaxed. Some cocktails have even won international awards. A very good option to try new drinks. - Kandu Tapia
Even though it's a fashion mall, there's a food court in a nice terrace with great views of this part of the city. Worth the visit. - Ed G
