I've eaten here at least once a week for the past three years. I've always received great service. But then again I tip well ... notice the cause and effect here?

The Purple Haze is a pretty fruity beer , and very tasty! I'd suggest trying it.

Great bar with a nice selection of local beers . Music is great too.

Good Portland Vibes. Average bar food. Stellar humus plate. Try the rubinator . Not on the menu . Very distinctive Mcmenamins mash up.

Have fun with your beer ... Try rubber head - ruby and hammerhead or rubinator - ruby and terminator... It pays to switch it up!

Try an Oregon Bulldog. It's a coffee/creamy/cola/vodka affair. (It's not always on the cocktail list , but if you ask nicely, they'll be happy to whip one up.)

Yes, McMenamins service is predictably bad. Go for happy hour (3-6 and 10-12) and get Cajun tots and a Rubinator and you won't care about the service.

Expect decent microbrew , good food and HORRENDOUS service. Bad enough (more than a few times) that they prob lost a few customers.

Service does suck. I poured myself water n then got asked my order... 20 mins later another server said she would be with us in just a minute...

Decent enough place, just expect poor service so you won't be dissappointed.
