Make sure to try the Moana Sunset tea , a heady blend of ohelo berries and mango with black tea . Don't miss the treat that comes at the end—a tiny scoop of lemongrass-green tea sorbet .

If you can get a table at the beach bear , this is a really nice spot for a cocktail and nibbles. Not so kid friendly as it is a little posh, but a memorable experience - LOVE THIS HOTEL ! Read more

The two best things about the Moana Surfrider are its prime beach location and The Beach Bar with its strong drinks , respectable food, and fast service . Also, a great view during lunch !

This is the first hotel to open on Waikiki Beach back in 1901. This is without a doubt the classiest hotel in Waikiki with a rich history. The architecture displays true Hawaiian style .

Steph Hinds

Excellent place to stay right on Waikiki beach and within walking distance of great shops and food. Service was excellent

L P

Great for history buffs, not a lively place . Street side rooms are noise starting at 7am. Old photos and historic info on the 2nd floor. Rocking chairs on 1st and 2nd floor for people watching .

Jenn Allaire

This is gorgeous hotel with great staff and service. The increase of street performers have made it SO loud in city view rooms. Not the hotel 's fault but it can negatively affect your experience!

Jetset Extra

You really can't get a more beautiful hotel in Waikiki than this one. Their high tea is great to share with your mom/daughter. And the views of the ocean are spectacular!

Amazing location. Right in the heart of Waikiki and on the beach . Rooms are a bit small. Hotel is over 100 years and a bit dated.

HISTORY

Opened in 1901 & became the largest hotel in Waikiki . In 1905 Jane Standford, Co-Founder of Stanford University died from poisoning in her room, making it one of America’s legendary mysteries.
