ご存知水戸徳川家下屋敷跡。大川沿いということで蔵屋敷的な役割だったのでしょう。だけどこんな倉庫 的なお屋敷にもキチンと庭園 を作っていたとは、江戸という街はホント庭園 都市だったと見方もできますねぇ。
南側の池 がある範囲はかつての水戸藩下屋敷。現在の姿はさすがに下屋敷時代そのままというわけではなさそうですが、池 の姿や周囲の築山らしき高まりは大名庭園 そのもの感。
小梅小学校 隣接。もし北部の高台を見かけてなにか思ったら登ってみよう。昼夜、こんなアングルの写真 が手軽に撮れる。
隅田川 の両岸にある公園 で、台東区浅草と墨田区向島にまたがる。春の桜まつりと夏の隅田川 花火 大会が楽しめるスポット。

授乳室 あり。おむつ替え可能。
