We went there to eat on new years eve. The 50£ three course menu did not disappoint. A bit of everything the smoke house has to ever, dub finished with a great dessert . Easily worth the price !

Rylan Holey

Incredible meal. Try the Fried Oyster or Brisket Roll to start. The Duck with Kim Chi is quite an amazing main too. Pretty good value for wonderful food and service.

Pete Alexander

Great stop off for carnivores. Particular favourite was the lambs ' kidneys on toast . Shame I'm off the beers this month as the selection of Pale Ales was amazing.

Roberto Bua

Amazing food, probably the best restaurant in Islington. Get the foie gras starter, their amazing shortrib bourguingon and the banana bread French toast . So good.

Anthony Ussher

Had the ox cheek taco's to start, overdone and underwhelming, shame as the flavours were really good. Then had the shoulder of lamb as main and that was Incred. Really enjoyed my meal here. Go go go

Oliver Waters

Excellent food. Highly recommend the Burrata as a starter and the Duck for a main. Great selection of craft beers as well !

Debs Debs

Smoke bourguignon is incredible. Nice selection of local ales , lagers and IPAs on tap . Dessert choices were all way too rich, would be nice to see some simpler, lighter desserts . Nice decor.

Chris Marsh

Very friendly staff , a lovely authentic venue and beer menu of bottles and draught that reads like a novel , this is great place to spend a night with a group of friends.

Pedro Cambra

Amazing Sunday roast . Watch out for the board of specials for really good deals specially for groups. Nice service too, but maybe they should stop serving you water constantly and just leave the jar.

Dawn Tuckwell

Brisket starter is amazing, as was the monkfish for main and Friday Pie for dessert . This place is genius and the staff are incredible. This will be a regular for us!

Jade Atkins

For a meaty menu the vegetarian options are really good. Burnt leeks with hens egg and truffle , gnocchi , harissa pumpkin with smoked yoghurt ????????????????????????????????

Susan Tobin

Gnocchi starter is an absolute must and if you can split the lamb and the beef Sunday roast and you will have the best of both worlds!

Yaseen Rocca

The Sunday roast menu is worth trying. Slow-cooked lamb was great. Seafood starters sounded significantly better than they tasted, but they were acceptable. Coffee was mildly acceptable. A bit noisy .

Steve Leary

Great selection of tapped and bottled beer . Top service from the wait and bar staff , with excellent food to top it off. Welll played.

Tobias Otte

Had the Highland burger & Korean pulled pork for Saturday lunch which was pretty good. A bit spicy . Nice atmosphere. WiFi password: holysmoke

David Allen

Brilliant BBQ/meat restaurant . Short rib bourguignon is a must, as are the caramel potatoes . Good craft beer selection too.

Liam

Request a table outside if the weather is nice and for goodness sake get the Double D tart for dessert (think Cadbury Double Decker).

Rupert Duffy

Amazing burger , one of the best I've had. Huge selection of beers , the wall of taps is almost as impressive as the wall in GoT

Adam Burrows

Went on a Sunday- so the lunch menu was mostly roasts. Prepare to taste the smoke in the meats- the duck in particular was v.smoky. Incredible banana bread dessert .

Jessi @2feet1world

One of the best local Sunday roasts I've tried. Points for giant Yorkshire puddings !

Anna Szypkowska

Nice ambiance and good steak , cocktails are also really good; and dog friendly !

Matteo

If a place care about their food, the quality of the products mean you gonna have a great experience!! Such a great meal!

Mitch Bligh

This place is great! Exciting food (pulled pork with kimchee is amazing!) and awesome craft beers . Not cheap but worthy!

Matt Barber

For dessert , consider the Double D tart . Inspired by the Double Decker chocolate bar . So hench

Peter Brick

Had the Sunday pork roast and it was amazing! Beautiful meat, but the trimmings and sauces were brilliant!

Matt Blewitt

Beef fat bread and butter, an outstanding Sunday roast and great beers on tap . What’s not to love?

Marc Lee

Beer list is amongst the best I've ever seen. Brisket roll and Ox Cheek will make you believe there is a heaven.

Sarah Lomax

Lovely garden for nice weather. AMAZING beer list & the BBQ is to die for.

Sylvia deJesus

The burger was awesome! Best burger ever! The Sunday roast was delicious. The service is great.

thomas

The t-bone is simply amazing. Get it medium-rare and ask for extra serving of the mustard based sauce.

Matt Barber

The starter of prawn toast is amazing. Get it or forever miss out

Z Hoeben

Enjoyed drinking light ale by the fire with a pulled pork brisket . The menu is great if you want a meat fix. Worth a visit.

Shell ster

The Octopus and foie gras ganache is great. The roast beef and smoked beef is ultimately disappointing! My jaw still aches.

Guillaume G

Great starters, tacos style. Tacos in particular. Great wine selection . The duck is excellent.

hello_emily

Roast is good, booking fee and refund process is bordering on fraudulent. Try the jugged hare for a quality roast without the bs. ????????

Vic McGin

High end pub serving an amazing selection of beers and ales . Food is pricey and draws an older crowd.

Sam Cross

Great staff , cracking smokey meats, unbelievable selection of draft and bottled craft beers . Get down there.

David R

Cozy spot with a surprisingly good Sunday roast that is served until relatively late.

Andrew White

Awesome beers and food. Nice staff , good atmosphere - what else do you need?

Iunius Mardonius

Perfect Sunday roast ! Busy so I've better bake a reservation 9/10

Gina Decio

Brilliant service. Delicious food. Friday Pie should not be just for Fridays, match with a sherry . Fabulous!

Nick Baldwin

Cozy atmosphere and delicious food. The Sunday roast is top notch.

Kata Marjai

Sunday roast with this bottle of wine is fabulous here.

Lindy S

Highly recommend the pulled pork and the speciality Bloody Mary . I'll be back

Domrongpon Tanpaibul

Better to book in advance. Brunch is so good. Good quality.

Michael Hallett

Smoked lamb shoulder is better than the brisket (which is also delicious)!

Nick Black

Best Sunday roast I've found so far in london

Barnabee

Lovely wing-backed chairs and great selection of beers on tap

Colin Mitchell

Delicious food and friendly staff . Will absolutely return. Brisket starter was memorable

Nilgün

Much enjoyed the food here and the great service. Love to come back.
