Love this park , but sometimes the people of Brookline are a bit much. Some freak out about off leash dogs, some dog owners can’t admit that their dogs aren’t well-behaved (green tag or no).
Great picnic tables in the shade but your butt will start to hurt if you sit too long. Also nice big field for frisbee/catch/soccer.
If you have a dog and live in the area, not taking your dog to this park could qualify as animal cruelty.
Great for dog- and people-watching!
Great place to stroll and feel like you're far from the city .
Tennis courts require a paid permit
Nice walking trail around nature preserve
Great for running!
Off Leash hours from 8-1pm - lots of wonderful dogs and owners, too.
