Great prices vs. quality, especially for cheese , beer and wine . Competitive with both Star Market in Fenway and the Whole Foods in Brighton in most areas, between both in quality and selection.
Almost always crowded no matter when you go, but they have tons of check out lanes, some on each side of the store. Big wine and beer selection also!
Trader's is awesome!! Lots of cheap but great wine . Fresh salads and great diversity of frozen vegetables .
My faves here are the fiberfull granola bars , butternut squash risotto , and pumpkin pecan oatmeal . :) great prices, much better than stop and shop, and tasty/healthy food! Also the cheapest/best wine !
The frozen section here is the best part of this place. So many cheap options to buy for single serve dinners throughout the week. Plus, you can't beat their selection of beer and wine for under $5.

I don't drink alcohol or buy any animal products, and I don't buy prepared and processed foods (other than soymilk), but I still find plenty at great prices at Trader Joe's.
Don't be a fool... avoid the parking lot and just park on Longwood Ave or you will end up jammed in the lot with no escape. Trapped for all eternity.

Avoid weekends from 10am-4pm, the high time when a slew of hungover coeds descend like zombies, texting while they shop, clog the store. Parking is horrible too.

The #66 bus that passes is very unreliable and often bunches up with 1-2 other buses , can make 30-40 minute delay. At times, the C-line doesn't run (shuttle bus replacements).
Love the recent expansion. Well done.
Walk or use public transportation instead of driving because the parking lot is ALWAYS the jump off!
Best soymilk ($2.99/container) and raw almond ($4.49/lb.) prices around.
They don't have a lot of goods for baking. Like cake flour, vanilla beans , or granulated sugar
