Hip atmosphere . New takes on classic cocktails . Sylvain provides an upscale experience at a reasonable price. Try out I've of the house drinks "Naked Under Leather" which has a nice apple kick!
A great, new place for a sexy, cocktail-fueled date night in the French Quarter. Don't miss the Veal Sweetbreads , Beef Cheek , & Pan-fried Pork Shoulder and read all about it on WinstonWanders below! Read more
New American, gastropub-style restaurant in the Quarter helmed by Chef Alex Harrell. Widely acclaimed as a very high-end restaurant at a price point that’s high but not terrifying. [Eater 38 Member]
You can't go wrong with the pan seared fish or the short rib with crispy kale . Negative point, they don't start you off with good bread ; all they have is corn bread ????
When in doubt get the pork shoulder . First time here, get the pork shoulder . Second time here or more, get the pork shoulder . In summation get the pork shoulder . Your tummy will thank you!!
Very nice welcome and service, very very tasty local food -organic salad and juicy pork shoulder - and superb choice of wines and alcohol , trendy place . One of the few we would like to re-assess.
A NOLA must-do, make reservations . Everything we ordered was amazing, but standouts were the Squash bruschetta , Pork Shoulder , and Gulf shrimp . Cooked to perfection and sopped up every last bite!
Had some really great local fish over heirloom squash at one of the tables dotting a quiet historic alley tucked away from the street. Take it easy with a bottle of wine and save room for desert !
Try the southern antipasti . It's pork belly , pickled egg & green beans , black eyed pea hummus , spicy salami , cheese and a other tasty things I can't remember. Fried chicken sandwich is enormous.
Fantastic restaurant & bar - some of the best bartenders & drinks in the city , hands-down. Cool folks, great food, nice ambience (great patio )... Right in the heart of the Quarter. Highly Recommended
The entire menu is flawless, but there a some definite standouts. Order the fried eggplant and buffalo veal sweetbread apps. For dinner , get the crispy pork shoulder . It's life changing.
"Chick-syl-vain" was delicious. Get the No Fun cocktail , it's only a little sweet with a Bourbon kick.
The back patio is an excellent place to sit. Vegetarians - you can eat something real and delicious here! Drinks and food are good; staff is great; reservations are best. Non touristy , too.
Awesome food. Great service. The wait staff offer great suggestions. Cocktail menu is outstanding. The beef belly is the best appetizer .
Awesome place. I was recommended it by a local. Terrific food, lovely ambience, nice staff - and less expensive than many rivals.
The cocktails are tasty and creative all our entree's were excellent maybe skip the fried chicken sandwich . Best chocolate pot de creme ever. It was an all around win
We love this simple fried eggplant that has a fresh note of lemon zest topped with finely grated Parmesan cheese . Read more
cocktails were good, as was the chick sylvain sandwich . they replaced shrimp with scallops for the shrimp and cornmeal dumplings and it was really good...just a really small portion for the price
Stumbled upon this gastro pub for lunch and glad we did. The fried eggplant and chicken sandwich were both great. It was a nice change of pace from the French Quarter crowds and Creole seafood .

Cozy bistro with comfort food . Make a reservation – it fills up fast. The shaved Brussels sprouts was an excellent starter and one of the more unique dishes I’ve enjoyed. - Teri, Media + Events
I love the veal sweetbreads ! Live your kidneys a break and try the house made ginger ale for a refreshing non-alcoholic beverage
In my opinion the best damn Sazerac in the city . And the food is amazing and inexpensive . The staff is young, hip and better dressed than you. No doubt.
Everything is great. Loved the sweetbreads , the crispy pork shoulder and grits , the Brussel sprout salad and the pot de creme
Best hipster hangout in NOLA with tremendous creative food and cocktails . A sophisticated oasis in the middle of the French Quarter frenzy.
Really good Sazerac and food!! Suggested especially if you find a table outside !
The daily seafood special is worth exploring and if you're not feeling the it there is always beef cheeks or delicious pork . No shortage of great options
Pork shoulder is heavenly. Excellent cocktails . I had a sore throat and got one of the best hot toddies I've ever had.
I really enjoyed sylvain's vibe, service and food. The bolognese was a little saltier than I prefer but still delicious.
Delicious! Came with 7 friends and they easily and happily accommodated our large party. Lovely space and diverse menu
Gulf Shrimp and Hominy: shrimp were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Hominy and veggies not as good. Will come back but for something different.
The fried chicken sandwich and fries and the crud’s appetizer are amazing
I know it is tempting to go with the burger or even the chicken sandwich , but you should get the pork shoulder . It is amaaaaziiiing.
Wagyu beef app is delightfully sweet and savory. Enjoy dinner in the courtyard on a crisp evening and checkout the second oldest wall in NOLA.
A little hideaway in the here of the Quarter. Trust your bartender to make you a fantastic srink. Food is great, too.
Brunch was great and they catered for my gluten-free self serving a very tasty omelette with grits !
Get the Beef Shoulder for sure. Try the beef belly and bruschetta as well . And any whiskey drink , esp. with soda .

Off the beaten path. Has feel of high-end Italian restaurant but w/o the white tablecloths . The food was good, some original & homemade , but priced a bit high. Music was way too loud . Great service.
bartenders are super friendly and hilarious. full menu is served at the bar if you want to avoid the long wait for a table.
One of the most interesting bloodies I've had. Homemade tomato juice served with a glass of Schlitz beer . It's how they drink them in Wisconsin apparently.
Had the braised beef cheeks at a friend's suggestion. Glad I went with it. Meat was fork-tender and amazing. Excellent food.
The beef cheeks were melt in your mouth amazing. The French Syrah by the glass was perfect.
The burger is perfect. Grab a spot in the courtyard if the weather is nice for a wonderful Quarter night.
Amazing food locally sourced . Try their special cocktails and ask for their signature dishes.
Excellent food, creative cocktails and maybe the best place to find good vegetables in NOLA
the pork shoulder is amazing. and they make a mean moscow mule . they have the most friendly and knowledgeable bartenders .
The negroni bianco is great. Cheese plate is very nice. Fried eggplant is wonderful. Ask for extra aioli .
Great atmosphere.. eclectic and funky - I love the vegan taxidermy ❤️ - Mary C. Albert
Some of the best food I’ve ever had.... salmon sliders, crab fritters... amazing. - Chantee Willis
A most go to when visiting New Orleans. Beignets with Chicory Coffee is an amazing treat - Gabriel Hayes
Great atmosphere and drinks. Food was great, blackened drum(fish), red beans and rice. Would recommend to everyone to give it a try. - Robert Cottrell
I love this place when the sun is down and the piano is playing. The purple stuff will catch up with you quick. It's a great getaway from Bourbon Street while still being on Bourbon Street. - Latham Brunson
