Try the Ant Hills if you have a mountain bike . Try the shared trails that reach all the way to George Bush Park . You can get definitely get the miles in here and also you get a great view as well .
They have water fountains every couple of miles, and ones for your pets . But I'd make sure to bring a water bottle!
Great walking, running, cycling path that goes from beltway to bush park . Less crowded than memorial. From beltway , take the trail on right, past restrooms , to cross stone bridges over two creeks.

Once of the best running, biking , walking spots in Houston. All the distance you want for running (Beltway 8 to Highway 6). Bike trails on the south side. Asphalt and dirt running available.
You can stay on the paved path, but why not off-road a little? Take it to the trails - along the bayou runs a network from Wilcrest all the way out to the Hwy. 6 dam .
Great location to exercise on the North side of Houston, Bike , Hike walk or run, approx 9 miles, limited facilities and you need to bring water, and sun shades..
Web Developer Diana says: "It has lots of trails for hiking and biking and areas to picnic ."
