Recently moved to Houston and this is a great park to do just about anything I've already been bike riding and jogging and it's wonderful! I highly recommend it's a great atmosphere too

Great park for walking or jogging, but not during 'Prime Time', between 4 to 7pm or so, during the week..parking is a bitch! Use the bathroom at the clubhouse before walking..avoid portapotties!
Great 3 mile jogging track . Usually plenty if parking with the exception of the area around the club house and tennis courts during peak hours.

A large park near everything in the NW Downtown area. If you're a skater, you'll love the city 's skatepark!
Running trail is fun. Picnic loop is good for knocking out some road bike miles and the mountain bike trails are good
Go south of Memorial Dr. and the Liebermann running loop, and run on the trails that begin near the soccer and baseball fields instead. Beware - they're multidirectional and heavily used by mountain b

The "0 mile" marker is located directly in front of the tennis center . The "3 mile" markers flank the "0 mile" marker. One located near the stretching area and the other just NE of the tennis center
Best park to run at in Houston in my opinion. The outdoor scenery is amazing here.
Totally awesome running location! Water fountains all over the place! Even without music , I was entertained!
2nd & 4th Sunday Volleyball 3pm @ volleyball courts by baseball fields . Then at 5pm Flag football & Soccer . ALL FREE. We tried it today, recommended. APRIL-OCTOBER
They updated the calisthenics/stretching areas in front of the tennis courts . Wow! Looks world class !
The memorial trail is the go-to running spot for Houston!
Make sure to say hello to Bob the croatian sensation! You'll find him feeding the birds and squirrels by the tennis center <3

My Garmin Forerunner 405 and Timex Global Trainer GPS watch both indicate approximately 2.9 miles from starting point and ending at the same spot.
Lots of work going on around the loop...prepare to have find other routes to complete the 3 miles, or turn around.
Houston's Central Park , but much less crowded fortunately.

Tennis and Golf !! Get there early on the weekends, otherwise you have to wait a really long time. Patience is not a virtue for some peeps, sorry.
Spend time on the trails ! But watch out for mountain bikers !
Head out for a see and be seen run at the largest park in the H-town. You can play golf , tennis , softball, bike , and swim too!

After running the 3 mile loop in 100+ degrees, grab a smoothie at the Tennis Center .
I love a smoothie from smoothie king after my runs!
There's no better place in town for eye candy than this running trail after work.
Later in the week is much less crowded
