Buffalo Bayou Park

Miles of winding trails . Make sure you have a bike with tires that can handle some of the mixed terrain if you're riding your bike . Great elevation changes here and a nice view of the city .

Check out Bayou City Adventures for kayaks , SUP & canoes . Great view of city . Only complaint, there's a lot of trash along bayou & you do get wet. Very fun regardless! Lots of walking & biking trails

The recently competed pavilion has a small restaurant that can be booked for special events and you can rent a kayak to go down the bayou.

Love this park !! Great for biking , walking, jogging, or whatever you desire.

Great park with fun walking trails , but honestly my fav place is the dog park here, it's considerably the best in Houston & tons of dog owners bring their pups here. Always a great variety!

There are giant gar fish and turtles to watch and you might even see an alligator . Of course, the Rosemont Bridge spanning the bayou is the perfect spot for viewing the downtown skyline. Read more

This is a great trail ! There are bike and foot paths and it runs along both sides of the bayou. Watch out when the weather gets bad though... The paths can get very muddy.

The improvements they've done along the park have really transformed this area. Beautiful location to come and get a walk in the morning. Pet friendly

Getting nicer. All the north trails are done but the south trails are just partially completed. Almost a complete loop which is almost 6-8 miles.

There are a lot of crossing points over the bayou so it's a very flexible-length trail .
