This is a very beautiful and exciting park for the whole family. Be sure to check out the flea market on Saturdays, and bring extra cash for parking and vendors that sell summer treats.
Beautiful park close to Minute Maid, BBVA, Toyota Ctr & Convention Ctr. Flea Market every 3rd Saturday, but it's small. Live music quite often. Cute restaurants on site. Lots of play space for kiddos.
Went here with my boyfriend right before Christmastime. Loved it!! They had a live performance going on, horse & carriage rides, & of course ice skating ! So fun ❤️
The $5 kayak around kinder lake is a great place for kids to learn. Also, check out the listening vessels behind The Grove. Needs more/better food options for families.
Absolutely wonderful place to hang out during the day especially since there is so much shade from surrounding buildings
Very nice green space. Clean restrooms , shaded seating, installing an ice skating rink for winter, one eatery a small library , playground , interactive water feature. A bit of construction .
Discovery Green is a phenomenal place to see concerts . The setting is beautiful in the middle of downtown, but also spacial, which makes for not a bad picnic , either.

The best park in Houston! A lot of nice events during the whole year!
It's become a host-location for great causes and celebrations. It's a great park in the middle of it all.
Truly appreciate the Ambassadors that monitor the play area . The over zealous older kids can no longer take over the little kid area !
Love to see dogs around all the time. It is nice to come always. Bring ur Dog and have a Perfect pícnic .
If you have something important to tell a friend, take them to the listening shells and have an intimate long distance discussion via sculpture .
