Two words. Roti Canai . Best around. Also try the murtabak if you want something a bit more substantial.
Good Malaysian food , good variety of curry , rotis , gorengs . Kari lamb cooked really nice & tender. Ayam goreng has large pieces of chicken . Good quantity served
Nasi lemak with extra sambal & teh Tarik ..,, as Malaysian as it gets :-) Add Kari kambing for nice tender lamb pieces with the right amount of spices.
A plate of roti , some Ayam fried chicken and ginger teh tarik .... Heaven! You can't book here and it gets busy after 6pm. Organise your next hangout here using http://Chillwith.me
Little dose of Malaysia - Roti Telur is delicious, and Teh Halia is amazing!!
Brand new Malaysian masterpiece by the hugely successful team of Mamak (Goulburn St). Prepare to queue but enjoy watching roti making while you wait for seriously tasty eats.. Follow @eatstreetSYD
Roti and fried chicken are the best! Don't bother trying the satay . Be really to wait for a seat
And they do take away perfect if you are staying at the Mantra Chatswood 40m over the road . Satays good, of course the menu is pretty spicy ...
I have no idea what I ate but it was so good! A must if you are into Malasian food!
Roti canai is a fave; but for a sweet tooth (or dessert ) try the Roti pisang , which has sliced bananas through it.
Best Mee Goreng in town ! Great swift service and atmosphere.
The meegoreng is awesome sauce, as is the fried chicken (although that usually takes a while to come out)
Roti is amazing, particularly the dessert banana roti . Definitely worth the wait!
Nasi gorang, noodles , roti . The lamb curry is not to be missed
Very tasty food, minus the queue :-)
Great Malaysian food , but don't expect to have a peaceful conversations with your friends as it is a very noisy place. Services & prices are reasonable.
Totally lives up to the hype. Try the vegetarian curry , it's awesome! And get their early to avoid the queue!
Love the roti canai , lamb curry and mee goreng ! Loud but spicy and delicious.
Sweet tooth? Order the Teh Tarek and try the Roti Tissue for dessert
Service was good; food was ordinary. The big let-down was the Teh Tarik — it was SO sweet, we had to water it down by almost twice the serving. By then, the tea was too diluted to drink. Disappointed.
Solid roti , fast service .
Average food which lacks the pop that Indonesian food does. This is the sort of food that western people like so don't be surprised if Malaysians would skip this joint and go somewhere more authentic
Get roti kaya with ice cream ! Omg its the best!
Nice restaurant but drinks are limited. Come early
Lunch special has generous servings
If you have a cold, try the sambal prawns . They'll clean your mouth, throat and sinuses right out!
Lamb curry was very nice.
[take-away] Since there is always que for lunch , I ended up buying take out few wks ago. I ordered a Nasi Goreng $10.50 and is really disappointed at it's size, value, and taste.
If you've got a head cold, try the sambal dishes. My mouth and throat are on fire ;)
Love it all! you can't go wrong with Mamak's menu. enjoy!
Order the Mixed Satay and then ask fo the recipe for the satay sauce !
Dissapointed. This place is louder than a Dinosaur Junior concert . We all came away with ringing ears and starved of conversation. The food was good but my tip is don't go when it's busy.
Now open 'til late Fri & Sat! (9:30 other nights). Open 7days.
great Malaysian food
Amazing takeaway !
Always good and great food!people who are complaining are used to KFC or Maccas junk food!
Almost the real 'singapore ' taste
Better than paparich !
The perfect balance of great food and random service ;)
it's easy to chat up chicks here b/c the tables are so close together
Great food!! Try the chicken satay sticks and roti !
great food but very loud and crowded . waiting in the queue is not really worth it
Wow Samlal is amazing.
This branch is much better than China town one, better service, less queuing and roti is not that oily.
Roti Tisu is really really good! It's just $9!
Roti canai is a must
Queues are not too bad at lunchtime. If there is one, you could always take away
Absolute crooks. Charged a $2pp surcharge, which was hidden away on the back of the menu.
It's worth getting a few pieces of Ayam Goreng (Fried Chicken )
the Roti bom is sooo good!
Singapore Laksa (get it with mixed noodle), CKT, nasi goreng, hainan chicken rice, kecap manis sotong = all the bomb. - Shaun Mowrey
Food was great and taste wise just right, not over powering. Restaurant quality located in food court area ;) - Samuel Yustia
My favourite shopping centre to go for sushi, coffee or to watch a movie - Sydney Eleanor Hire
Love the lululemon shop here. Staff are great, friendly and non intrusive. Great place for awesome dumplings too (place adjacent to the food court) - Michelle
