When ordering the Pot of Mussel , make sure U count the number of mussels to shell ratio! I was 3 short on my last order & @ $28.50 per dish, those mussels aint cheap ! Else the service quality wz good.
Tho many authentic Bavarian beers to drink but the $7+ per beer price is too dear imo, nevertheless the location, the ambiance makes up for it to hang out with mates!
Service is a bit iffy but the food is great and the beers cold and large!
Special before 7pm - 0.5 for the price of 0.33. $7.5 for 500 mL of a genuine German beer !!
A warning if u order the Bavarian Hot Dog ; they don't make it as stated on the menu. It arrived with standard chips and missing the chilli tomato sauce . Was pretty dull
Follow the new Bavarian Bier Cafe on Twitter @eatstreetsyd. Try the pork knuckle and make sure to dip a pretzel in mustard !
Absolutely terrible when I visited on Friday. Amex charge of $2 and the Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfestbier I got looked, tasted and cost different to the same thing I got on a Sunday.
Good during happy hour sometimes a little loud
Peach Schnapps (ESP when you finish the tuesday challenge) goes down well with the Mango Weiß Bier !
Blonde moments and pretzels !
Happy hour 5-30 to 6-30. Makes those litre beers almost affordable .
The apple strudel (of course). Strong cinnamon yum.
If you go on Tuesdays go for the schnitzel challenge!
Just let your boss pay.
Mango weiß bier is good. Prost!
1kg Bucket of Prawns for $25
Paulaneurs
Very slow service....
Terrible service over priced
Food service is terribly slow
Great atmosphere with good hearty Bavarian food and beer. Do a 1L if you can (it's a whole different experience!). - Chung Ho
Everything - especially the ambiance and entertainment provided by Rudi. - Richard Clement
The Pork Belly salad is a bargain. Got two big squares of pork with beautiful crackling. James Squire Pale on tap is a pretty good accompaniment. - Michael Stone
My favourite shopping centre to go for sushi, coffee or to watch a movie - Sydney Eleanor Hire
