Good venue for bands also not expensive for tickets seen lots of different bands here I really love the venue
I had naff-all mobile reception here on Vodafone. The guy next to me, on O2 had a full 4G signal. Favouritism....
A top live venue in the centre of Brum, though food & drink prices are high. Top up at a good local pub first.
Happy they serve Guinness but the crap bartender served ot with an inch and a half of foam! See which bartender pours it right and make sure you order from them.
Worst gig venue in the world. I’ve been to gigs in 7 different countries over the last 30 yrs. I regularly go to gigs in London, Manchester, Brighton, Sheffield, Bristol & Nottingham. This is abysmal
Be the first to check-in & find Mike (our bassist) for a very special prize at tonight's show!
If you're on the carpet, dont stand still for too long or your feet will stick :S also watch out for the men who argued about who peed in the cup lol
Crazy place with crazy prices
Doesn't hold a candle to the Dale End version. Same playlist EVERY week and, from what I hear, has been invaded by chavlings.
£4.60 a pint. Missed the 1st band due to massive queue. Sweaty as dicks. Clueless staff . 40 mins to get coat in AND out of cloakroom. :S
£8.65 for a pint and a half of St. Miguel so my tip would be to not drink here. TIL
Utterly shit venue on so many levels but some great bands play here. The Academy 2 and 3 aren't bad.
Pint of carlsberg, 4 quid. Could buy a small bottle of vodka or whisky for that and get pissed quicker
this venue is horrible inside, staff are unpleasant, it's difficult to get to, and queues are always horrendous - they need to find a quicker system for getting people inside! avoid if possible!
Expensive drinks, crappy draft beer . Awful phone reception. Seems to be one way in and the same way out after gigs, bit of a crush heading out afterwards.
Are you are a fan of bands like "The Strokes" or "Primal Scream"? Then the best rock and pop venue in town is the place for you.
Go to a gig on Friday and get free entry to Propaganda afterwards!
Awesome place
Don't miss the Riverboat Gamblers , Sum 41, The Black Pacific and Veara here on 11/2!
Be warned: a pint of Tuborg on a gig night is £4.05 - though no doubt will have gone up by the time you read this.
Propaganda on Fridays is always a good time!
Tenacious D
In there tonight to watch Bowling for Soup !
Sit on floors whilst waiting for artists , clean enough
Gigs, Propaganda , etc
Pre-drink before you arrive, beer is £4.15 a pint.
Check out 3OH!3 performing here on 11/03! Read more
Not too bad. Good local guys
Be careful of Showsec security. They are useless!
Foals smashed it
Drinks are overpriced and bar staff are clueless.
Propaganda on a Friday night. Cheap drinks , great music !
Hide your chewing gum, security on the door think it's a lethal weapon :)
Crap view downstairs. No better than the old Academy then.
Bottled water costs £2.40 so ask for tap!
Indie night 12-1am
Don't stand still for too long, you will stick to the floor
As predicted by Stuart-pint of Tuborg is now £4.20...
The doors never open on time! I blame O2!
miserable staff .
No place to leave jackets and coats
Good view from the top balcony but it's pretty high so avoid if you're scared of heights! - H
Great venue, surprisingly good food. Helpful, friendly staff. - Jules Chambers
Amazing music, nice place...I really recommande that place - Kelly Christine
The menu by Big Papa's is delicious and great value for money. The Mac&Cheese and the Spicy Fried Okra are both must tries! - Dan Katri
Good for alternative music nights, not too many scene kids, always a good sign - Rhodri Jones
Bar staff are very helpful- when I hesitated when ordering a drink I was provided with samples of some of the guest ales! Great music & live events too, obviously. - Matthew McConkey
