There's a good selection of real ale , and also spirits . There is a decent lunch menu , and the prices are reasonable.

Sunday roast is delicious, we ordered both beef and chicken . All of them were amazingly delicious. Nice environment.

If you're over 6ft.....Duck! Great food can't say I've ever had a bad meal here.

Steak night on a Tuesday is fantastic: fillet steak , chips , salad , a choice of sauce and a glass of wine for £10 : )

Catherine and Jo behind the bar on Friday's and during the week are both lovely and respond well to a drink being bought for them ;)

Avoid outside in summer as they have a wasps nest + aren't bothered to get rid. We recently abandoned our fresh food as 5+ wasps landed on the plates. Told the barman who just shrugged his shoulderzzz

Decided to leave after we witnessed one of the chefs licking gravy off his fingers and proceeding to use the very same hand to serve a portion of chips ... Not the seasoning I was hoping for
