I believe all the other tips have those delicious cheese biscuits covered ... This location is one of the few with a drive thru . Doesn't look like it has one from the road , but it does!
Hands down the beat restaurant in Birmingham! The ribs are very good and the loaded bake potatoes are huge. Any meal that includes ribs or briskets will be a good choice. Veronica was my waitress !
If you visit on a Tuesday, you're in for a treat: Taco Tuesdays at Jim 'N Nick's! Soft Barbecue Tacos are unique and delicious, but only served on Tuesdays.
Jim & Nick's is my favorite bbq in B'ham. Definitely check out Taco Tuesdays . Tacos are $2.50 and Mexican beers are $1.50. I recommend the pork bbq taco and the catfish taco !
I usually go for the "Original" sandwich with beef brisket and extra BBQ sauce . I could fill up on their made-from-scratch cheese biscuits which come with every meal, though.

Recommended this place than some visiting from out of town . 10 minute wait just to take order and when they finally came they were out of everything I wanted. Bad job Jim and Nick's.
Brittany was an AMAZING waitress !!! Hamburger Dave coulda been better. Think I'll stick to BBQ here at Jim 'N Nicks.

Drive thru people are either rude or lacking a few brain cells each trip. Switching to full moon after 5 yrs! Mess up my order 75% of the time. Not to mention tea is hit or major miss
