Fridays roast special is good, but if you have never been here, do not leave without a grilled bun chicken sandwich and the worlds best baby whole fried okra !
The green beans rule, and the grilled chicken sandwich deserves a much (it is more than "just a chicken sandwich ") better name.

Closed on Sunday, so I am forced to go to Jackson's. THEY TOOK THE GUMBO OFF MENU . That's crazy.

Hands down the beat restaurant in Birmingham! The ribs are very good and the loaded bake potatoes are huge. Any meal that includes ribs or briskets will be a good choice. Veronica was my waitress! - CL Holly
