Hands down one of our favorite restaurants in SF. Their cacio e Pepe is like no other. Service is awesome and great wine selection .
Ambiance is really good for groups . Good collection of wines and cocktails . Antipasti were good the octopus and fried risotto . The Alfredo pasta and gnocci were ok I've had better. Tiramisu was bad
Stayed next door. Ate here twice. Solid food, good drinks and attentive staff . I will definitely come back.
Fusion of quaint and modern. Had the grilled octupus and beets to start, lamb special for dinner . Great place in an historic square of the city .
The Vermentino wine pairs perfectly with Crude di Zucchine. The salad achieves a light but satisfying taste. The lemon and mint balance out the heavier flavors of the squash , cheese , and fried almonds Read more
Great place!! Food is amzing, obvious the goccis plus everything else. Service, the best. Super kids friendly
Cocktail menu is fantastic! Definitely make a reservation or try and snag a seat at the bar .
Gnocchi yum, pork , chicken , fettuccine . Everything enjoyed.
Delicious, well-executed italian dishes with an amazing selection of wines and a friendly , helpful staff to boot!
The gnocchi were like soft, silky pillows gently tossed with crisp pancetta . Butternut squash flan appetizer was a great way to start
Try the typical Roman dish cacio Pepe. Can't go wrong.
Bruschetta with burrata and sea urchin is absolutely delicious.
This place was unique. The downstairs was very hot. You have to ask for ice with water. Service picked up once we had to have a word with waiter and was successful. Flat bread amazing.
You should try gnocchi (Special one)
The best gnocchi I've ever had! Do yourself a favor and order it.
Great place to have dinner with friends..Gnocchi and tiramisu are excellent .. definite must have ..
The bruschetta was a great starter and the carbonara is A+
The lamb chops were AMAZING. And the octopus !
Ask for either the summer or winter truffle dish, depending on the season. Good lord, so incredible.
I sat at the bar and had a great experience. The lobster pasta was delicious!
A real Italian restaurant , no doubt. Wine was good, and I don't normally drink it. But this is no place for a vegan . The pasta and mushroom , the one dish they came up with for me, was too oily.
The skirt steak is sublime; evenly cooked with absolutely no fatty or stringy parts, and perfectly seasoned. If you like red meat, it's a must-try.
Carbonara is overrated and a bit too salty for me. Loved the homemade fettuccine with either pork Ragu or porcini mushroom sauce .
Excellent carbonara , everything delicious. Can't wait to go back.
Literally the best Cacio y Pepe we’ve ever had anywhere!
Amazing clams pasta !!! And panacotta. Best I've had.
Pastas were the real standout, particularly the housemade trenette w/Sicilian pesto : long noodles generously coated in a sauce of equal parts basil & tomato & studded w/coarsely chopped almonds .
The food is absolutely delicious!
Good wine . Try and get a seat upstairs rather than downstairs.
Everything wow. Delicious across the board.
I love this place. Food is amazing. Drinks are amazing. service is stellar.
The fish special (sea bass ) was perfectly cooked, the pasta we got was a bit too salty.
Delicious pasta and great selection of Italian wines and beers .
Octopus starter. Penne alla Amatriciana then the tiramisu
Good place for downtown dining. Specials are often good.
The grilled octopus appetizer is amazing. Very tender.
Super sweet staff , carbonara is delicious!
For a perfectly minimal pasta , ask to have the tonnarelli in a marinara .
The gnocchis are just like homemade and so delicious!
Get the octopus ! I've never liked octopus ...and I looooved this. :)
This place is special. Real deal, from a real Italian.
gnocchi , suppli, meatballs , delicious!
Gnocchi = pillows from heaven
Try octopus as an appetizer - it's fabulous!
carbonara was yummy but on the price side overall
Awesome downstair cellar seating: request it if possible. The food is great quality, using authentic Italian ingredients (like Parmesan and Balsamic from Emilia Romagna).
Trot the ham and parmiggiano .. Very good!
Really good smoothie bowls, such friendly service. The small was filling enough for lunch.Plus Mint Plaza is a lovely place to eat! - Molly Schwartz
Great place to go after work for happy hour - friendly wait staff and nice vibe. - Christina Chiesa
Go for the tasting menu, including the wine. Awesome. Also, the most wonderful staff add to the whole shebang. - Alasdair Scott
This is my favorite SF restaurant. Perfect risotto, amazing veal & pork meatballs. Wonderful atmosphere & service. Impressive wine list. - Scott
Make it a point to wander up to the lobby upstairs. It's beautiful and spacious - Magan Biggs
Seat in the mezzanine or loge are very good for sound and view. Also definitely preorder drinks as the lines are ver long. Y - Rebecca Elliott
My favorite large venue in San Fran. Park at the large parking lot nearby or take BART, don't try for street parking. Don't worry about where you're sitting, it's a great view from anywhere. - Roy Scopazzi
