Good views over Winchester, well worth the climb. Easiest climb is up the steps on the southern side .
Nice walk, great views from the top. As you leave the motorway at J10, go PAST the Park & Ride. Car park on left after about 500 yards, just before humpback bridge .
Nature, animals, flowers and definitely the view of St. Catherine's Hill from our home ????
There are steps to go up to the top of the hill by following the path alongside the river from the car park .
Quite a trek up the hill but worth it for the views of the city at the top
Worth the climb
Most peaceful place I've ever seen.
Great place to take babies and toddlers on a sunny day. Pushchair friendly gravel paths around lakes that are filled with ducks. Lots of picnic tables, or bring mat and sit on the grass. - Dr SW

Restored viduct now open - Peter Jordan
Brilliant place and long anticipated - Herry Lawford
Highly recommended. Great selection of real ales. Quirky and original, you will probably spend as long looking at the knick knacks on display as chatting to the locals. Very welcoming. Lovely staff. - Slynky Cat
