If you like/love/need coffee , go there whenever you can. Definitely one of the top coffee-places you will find in Vienna. It feels like the staff really cares about their coffee and their customers.
The owner is a coffee and tea lover and knows his stuff. Always nice to listen to stories about tea plantations, how to really serve turkish coffee , or why the flat white became popular.
This is the place for most of your coffee needs. They serve a excellent filter coffee as well as espresso . Massive plus: the coffee is direct trade and self roasted! (Try the Kenya AA+ in the V60 )
Filter coffee is really good, and staff help you pick the one you’d like based on your favorite flavors.
The drip coffee is really good! I like the "Limu" variety.The "Kenya AB" is too mild and sweet for me (Though, as is its nature, I still prefer espresso .)

New variety to be introduced in early 2014: Honduras single origin 100% Arabica. Very tasty, not too sour with smooth bitterness. Great!

Very small cafe in the university campus area. Very lovely couple who mends the cafe , cafe was not strong (like the Australian ones I'm used to) but I've realised that this is typical viennese.
I usually try to keep my distance from Colombian coffees but the Colombian Fondo Paez here simply rocks with the V60 !
I was there just for once and I found the coffee overrated! I don't know if they were a bit sloppy at that moment, nevertheless my coffee didn't deserve such an high point.

Coffee is good, with a very small selection of pastries to eat. Small and cozy , enjoyable if you are passing by, but not worth to go across the city . Cash only .

Coffee was not expansive 2.5 euro for a cappuccino and 3.5 euro for a flat white . A flat white is called a double espresso cappuccino for them - hmmmm?
