Kidani Village

I've stayed at several different resorts and this one without a doubt takes the cake . So much to do - be sure the explore! Can't beat waking up to giraffes in your backyard . Excellent accommodations.

Sanaa is one of our favs and the lodge is beautiful. We staycation here regularly and it never gets old!

Try the restaurant Sanaa downstairs: Great African/Indian food for vegetarians & meat-eaters alike. Outside, you'll see safari animals. At night, there's a fire & night-vision goggles!

Really nice lobby and wildlife viewing area out back of lobby. There's a 930pm nightly night vision goggle viewing of animals at the lobby.

Savannah view is worth the extra expense to say you've done it at least once. Huge balconies ! Animals don't come out too often, but that's ok. Still amazing place to stay.

Nightly campfire for all ages with unlimited marshmallows and a movie under the stars follows. Times and movies vary by season. Check with the concierge service at the front desk for information.

Try not to get a room in the Pumbaa section . While it still hosts a wonderful view , it is a long trek to get to the main lodge .

Best resort ever even w/the animals roaming around in the Savanna every day. Plus, weather is absolutely gorgeous here especially in Disney

Most resorts/hotels are not worth a stay. This hotel is worth the splurge and the stay! Animals actually roam the backyard , and the decor is amazing

If you want to see animals from your room, this is a great place to stay.

You have to get a Savanna view . So worth it.

If you do not have a washer/dryer in your room you can use the laundry facility free of charge, just bring your own detergent and fabric softener.

Get a one-bedroom villa . The extra space is perfect for 4 adults as it has two bathrooms !

Big and sprawling, get your walking shoes and Fitbit on.

Love this resort parking is better than the Jambi house...but jambos lobby is bigger and nicer

Sanaa is definitely worth eating at. It's one of the best restaurants on Disney Property.

Awesome resort ! NOT for DVC memebers only. Never been a DVC member & we r treated very well by all staff . Worth every penny!

First room floor (2F) vending machines have soda , second room floor (3F) have snacka, and third room floor (4F) have drinks again. Plan it with your room hikes .

There's a van that goes between Kidani Village and Jambo House for when you don't want to walk.

A hidden gem behind Maji Pool Bar . Nightly Campfires with unlimited marshmallows @ 7:15!

Request to stay on floor 2, near the lobby for best animal views and to be near all the activities.

My family was placed in the Pumbaa section long walks to get to anything and no quick service options here. You have to go to Jamba house for that. The rooms are very dark. Not coming back

Smoking spots in Timon parking lot and by the pool bar near the other parking lot .

Make sure to take a few minutes to chat with some of the African natives working the resort .

Go downtown. Shop at basin and buy a bathbomb. They are awsome I the master jacuzzi .

The animals in the preserve are amazing. But the hike from the lobby back to the room is LONG. Very tough when carrying kids, strollers and lots of stuff at the end of a day at the parks .

Staff is incredibly helpful. A loooooong way to the room. Be prepared to walk.

Due to the building's design you may have a very long walk depending on where your room is

The long hallways are rediculous. Expect 10-20 minute walks to your room if you're at either end.

The van that goes between is more trouble than its worth

Disney has to figure out how to let you do all checkin online and reuse your Key to the World.
