Our 1st-stop in Asakusa. It's filled w/ useful info about d area. Helpful staff , speak good English. U can also get a good view from d cafe & viewing deck on d upper floors.

Cafe and View from top is great ... building is representative of original Japanese structures . Underground shopping street is nearby - off to the side the Tokyo Metro (Ginza line )

Kengo Kuma // 2012

浅草文化観光 センター：隈健吾（2012）。地域 特有の姿を見出したいという隈の想いが込められたこの建築 は、江戸の情緒を伝え残す役割も担っている。不揃いな屋根は、各階の眺望に異なる印象を与え、全体を覆う木製ルーバーには外光を和らげる効果があるなど、デザインの中に機能性をうまく落とし込んでいる。

8Fのカフェ 「みはらしや」（4SQヴェニュー有）、カフェ を使わなくても利用可能な展望テラス は仲見世、浅草寺、スカイツリー が一望できる絶景 ＆記念写真 ポイント。あまり知られていないのか意外と混んで ない。セミオープンのフェンスなのでカメラを外に出さないように注意（落としたら大変）。

最上階がカフェ と展望台 になっています。二階三階は観光 案内資料がみれるので、計画を立てずに浅草に来た場合はまずここに来ると良いかも ね。

見落としがちなのが入場してすぐ右にある精緻なジオラマ地図。カバーはかかってないのでじっくり見られる。同じフロアには外貨両替所 、2Fには無料Wi-Fiとコンセント 、授乳室 もアリ…と実は意外と使える施設！

浅草三社祭の御神輿がお出迎えします。展望台 からの浅草仲見世はミニチュア模型のように見えます????

建築 家隈研吾さんの設計。最上階から回廊で降りれなかったのが残念！最初のコンセプトと違ったのでは・・・・？

8Fの展望台 からの景色 がいいです。遅くまで空いているので、夜景 も見れます。

無料の観光 施設です。最上階より東京スカイツリー の眺望が最高です。トイレも綺麗だよ！
