Most beautiful at night time, best walk to senso-ji, just outside asakusa station, a must visit and must photograph ! ⛩????????
The lantern is huge! There's a stretch of stalls selling souvenirs, renting kimonos for tourist to try them out. It's a must to try the melon bun ! They sell them while it's hot!
Check our all the small streets and shops around the temple . A little touristy but also neat. Get a warm rice cracker from a street vendor.
"Main" entrance to Nakamise Shopping Street & Sensoji w/ huge red lantern @d center. Probably 1of d most photographed spot in Asakusa. Very touristy . Come 4d nite view to avoid crowd.
After your Buddhist experience go-to the Sake Bar "Daimasu" (half way on the right on your way back just on the corner of the arcade ) Checkout their tasting menu ! (you may smoke inside)
Definitely the place for Japanese shopping. You can find souvenirs, kimonos , knives, swords and more. Heaps of Japanese sweets too.
If you are in "shitamachi" area of Tokyo, this is a must. You enter the gate, walk though a street full of shops, see a smoky tripod (get some smoke on you) and then pray!

It's always crowded here, but the shopping street is lovely. Get some traditional Japanese sweets here. Try the fortunes! Inside of the temple sometimes closed for private ceremonies.
This instagramable gate with its lantern & statues is the most popular to tourists . this gate is the outer of two large entrance gates that leads to the Sensō-ji through nakamishe dori #TravelingTokyo
I almost don't remember all the image that I came here 10 years ago. The surrounding area changes a lot. Maybe it's because of I plan for the visit this time.
Really fantastic to see this representation of old Tokyo and Japanese culture. Was crowded and the shops in front were packed, even early.
Great photo opportunities by day and night. Shopping is a plus as well depending what you are looking for.

It is the outer of two large entrance gates to the Sensō-ji in Asakusa. The gate, with its big red lantern and 2 statues of God of Thunder and God of Wind, is popular with tourists .
Get here earlier in the morning or during the night to take photos with less of a crowd in it.
This place is a must-see for every tourist coming to Tokyo. Get one of those Japanese sweets that are sold here.

The heart of downtown Tokyo.
Enjoy the shopping arcades between the gate and the Senso-ji Temple .

The street side is a choke point opens you to all the vendors hocking their wares, whether that be rides, food, or religion. Enter quickly to check out the tourist shops on the walk to the temple .
