Crown Fountain is a fountain Grant Park Chicago located in United States.
Michigan Ave (btwn S Michigan Ave and Boeing Gallery S) Chicago , IL 60602 United States
Very successful park in downtown Chicago. Even adults can cool off without feeling odd about "playing in a fountain " here. Great people-watching, too.
When I visited it, it wasn’t working. However, I think it’s really special place that has to be visited for sure since it’s very close to the cloud gate.
I always take out of town visitors here, but be aware that they turn off the "spitting" water feature as well as the fountains well before the first frost .
Nice place to cool off on a hot day. Come early for some photos before the crowds
An interesting stop. Seems that this area has been turned into a water park . Call me a fuddy-duddy, but I feel it detracts from the nature of the art ...
Great place to cool off on a hot day. How many faces appear on the monoliths?
This is actually the Crown Plaza , aka - the "Faces Fountain " that spits water. There's a rotating outdoor exhibit of sculpture in the area as well as events year-round.
I love to come here during my lunch break and enjoy the sounds of the fountain and people watch .
Traveling with kids? Splash around in the Crown Fountain in Millennium Park before attending a free family lecture, workshop or tour . -- Green Guide Editor
I really like this fountain , and I recommend going here in the summer to cool off.
A fun fountain park , but mostly if you have children. Otherwise, the people-watching is great.
Creative and fun public park
Bring the children on a warm day and be ready to get wet. Free, Chicago fun that is difficult to top.
Take your shoes off and go for a dip in the hot weather. :) The art is not working right now as it's under construction .
Fun sculpture park . Gets crowded with children splashing everywhere.
Bring a plastic bag for your phone and wallet. The more time you spend here, the more likely things will get wet.
Hang around for when the fountain goes off. The faces change afterwards.
Great fountain , watch your step, the ground is wet and slippery
Make sure to visit when it's not too hot! Mad house during summer.
Architecture is great
Awesome display of art
When screen move, it is awesome for everyone. But it is not, just good for kids .
Cheers to municipality for free wifi (connect 'park wifi ')
Fantastic summer fun for the kids!
The place is kind of over run buy kids during the summer time cooling off in the fountain
It doesn't work in winter, so we'll have to come back in summer
Splashing in the water is fun, but the stream coming out of someone's mouth is a bit much
Great silhouette photo opportunities at night
I like it!
I love this place
Just checking out the sights and enjoying the weather between meetings.
Just WOW!!!
Awesome at night ♥
Kinda creepy, but very interesting and unique
Watching kids playing with water is refreshing ????
Not sure to like this. It might be more interesting at night
So fun. I loved it when I was little.
Take the children to paddle in the water!
Want a break for the heat of the summer this is your place!!!
Amazing structure by Chicago architecture firm Krueck & Saxton
The faces are of actual Chicagoans.
Very attractive place.
Good tourist people watching
Stunning piece of art
❤ ???? great in summer!
Bring a bathing suit and a towel!
Great for kids
It's hard to have lunch at the fountain during the summer since it becomes a kiddies pool :-(
It's better when it's working.
Great place to cool off
