RIP Hymie , you will be missed at the Montreal landmark you created! Some of the best breakfasts , brunches and lunches in Montreal... An institution.

Amy Robertson

Beauty's special (lox , cream cheese , tomato and onion on a bagel ) is simple but stellar. A great precursor to walking up Mont Royal

Eva Dieudonné

My favorite place for a typical Canadian brunch ! Quality of food, service, authenticity & good atmosphere all gathered in one place! Try the blueberry pancakes , worth the way ????????????

Rory Parness

The country omelette is the best. You don't know an omelette until you have tried this. It has cheddar , bacon , parsley and the best egg . It melts in you're mouth and it is great

S P

A warm Montreal Landmark where it feels good going to and having as good a breakfast/brunch as you will get anywhere else.

Michelle Teefey-Lee

Cute little retro diner , with the old sweet owner greeting you as you enter. The 'Pink' shake is a must - fresh fruit and creamy ice cream . Food is very basic, nothing spectacular

Guillaume P

Excellent smoothies and liked the dinner decoration. The brunch menu was overcooked + too expensive , not worth the line up. I recommend this place for a salmon bagel or a smoothie in the afternoon.

Leemor Yuravlivker

Beauty’s special was good but a bit light on the lox . Omelettes were great and they come with a bagel ????

Steven Lambiase

Beautys serves up an egg , bacon , and cheddar cheese sandwich on a bagel called the Beautys Bonjour that’s perfection. Also try the special if you're into salmon

514eats

The Beautys Special sandwich , something you can whip up yourself in under three minutes, but a classic Montreal breakfast nonetheless.

Jake Smith

Order a smoothie (I loved the Cookies and Cream) and then a meal that includes pancakes . They are small, but you'll understand when you taste them why it is important to get a stack.

Gnat Brain

Old school diner that's a fav among tourists and locals. Try the beauty special if it's your first time.

Jonathan Levy

Most Iconic diner in Montreal, don’t leave without having The Special ✨

Steph H

Great breakfast spot ! Get there early on the weekend. There's usually a line up, but it's worth the wait.

Geoff Reinhardt

Perfect little corner diner , great for a hangover breakfast or a cute late morning date. Buy a mug on your way out!

Ian Westcott

The pancakes are just the right balance of fluffy & crispy , sweet and savory. It's obviously worth springing for the real maple syrup .

Gavin Lobo

Got a chance to have a true French Canadian breakfast here. Love that they serve a Montreal bagel with your meal. Fresh OJ is a must.

Judy Kennedy

Nice little piece of history this spot is :) ridiculous bang for your buck; great food, great staff and you must get the superbeautys 2. A Montreal must!

Jack Jenkins

I really enjoyed my milkshake here, I saw others and they all looked good. I can't remember the exact flavour I had, to recommend :( boo. Excellent staff

Luc St-Cyr

This is a must! Excellent food and service. Don’t worry if you have to wait in line it is worth the short wait .

David G

Awesome brunch . Not a greasy spoon. Good classic eggs , bacon , and delicious pancakes . You'll probably have to stand in line to get in though, but it's not too bad.

Mike Winston

There's something oddly charming about this classic dinner . Not really anything out of the ordinary about the food, but that shouldn't stop you from eating ice cream for breakfast . WinstonWanders.com

Liana G.

Hands down the best brunch place ever!!! Plus Hymie is so cute and such a great host. You can't go wrong w/ any menu items. Get the mac n cheese .

Lucinda Fortin

The pancakes were super dry, the potatoes brunt and uncooked at the same time, the only thing that was OK in the plate was the eggs . I won't come back. Overrated and pricy . Not worth the detour.

Tanya Wolfgram

Great breakfast spot for a family with young children. Food comes out quick and extremely delicious!

Michael

everything I've ever wanted in a diner plus a jewish twist, will be back for more pancakes

S P

Beauty's special, Nova entrée, blintzes , superbeautys 2... all good. Classic Montreal breakfast deli .

Emily Wilson

Beautys basic with sliced tomatoes instead of home fries

Cansu Akalin

Salmon bagel & mishmash are the must haves!

Mariana

Love the french toast and the atmosphere.

Kelsey Gilbert-Kreiling

Super Beauty 2 is everything you need!

Emily Wilson

Be sure to get a cookies and cream milkshake

tze chun

Great clean diner ! Get the Beauty special.

Matthew Rappo

You cannot visit Montreal and not have breakfast at Beautys!!

Jorge Jr

My usual order: Smoked Salmon Bagel followed by Super Beauty's 2 special with a freshly squeezed orange juice

Omer Idrees

Parking is tough to find esp after a blizzard. MishMash is the thing to have; they use all beef meat. Owner can be somewhat loud .

Valentin Guerin

A must try, this is place is awesome.

Ben Woo

Where the stars go for breakfast in Montreal! Order the Mish-mash and prepare to be fulfilled! Fresh Montreal bagels to boot!

Mark Brown

Solid quality food. (Especially) Morning after.... or just any time!

Gabrielle Lachance

I want to add i used to go there when the owner was still alive and i was saddened to see what it has become since. You’re better off going to la binerie next door.

Yuni Graham

Terrible service by old man who sits at front. Told me a table was for party of 6 ppl, then put me in the back by bus boy station. Then watched him put party of 2 at that table who came in after us.

Chris Messina

Given the line , I was exp pitching something transcendent but was greeted instead by the equivalent of Mel's Dinner . The food was bland though there service was fast (after getting through the line ).

Maz!n

Bagel with cream cheese and smoked Salmon . ????????????????

Melanie Vallee

Did you know that they make Gaspacho soup to take out . In the summer time it is worth the detour !

Ameer Alba

Overrated!, everything is just normal. Their coffee is ok. If you can make an omelet at home, believe me you'll make better that what they do. I didn't try their smoothies so I can't comment on it.

Hans van de Bruggen

Best bagel I've ever had. Period.

Adam Rice

Classic diner . Get the mishmash omelette .

Carole Guevin

Expect to wait. Always a waiting line . Worth it yes. Maybe not in the dead of Winter.

Restotube

Order the blintzes and a fresh-squeezed juice for a truly sinful, yet wonderful, brunch . It cannot be beaten!

You have to get the Beauty's Special in Montreal's iconic diner - the French would call it: "un incontournable!"
