You must order a sesame bagel -- it is their specialty. Deliciously delicate. Eat fresh out of the oven (no toasting necessary!) with cream cheese , preferably on a sunny day in the park .

Rosemary bagel was so good it didn't need cream cheese .
Montreal bagel powerhouse, go there just to watch the guy cascade 20 fresh bagels into the air, New York bagels are still better though
I went to Fairmount in the morning and my gf and I thought it didn't taste like anything special since it wasn't fresh at all. Went to La Viateur and hands down the best bagel I have had in life!

The chocolate chip bagel is delicious. They're not as soft as NY style bagels and they have just a tad of sweetness to them. Good stuff. - Amanda Morris
Sesame bagel was good. Comparisons with Fairmount are inevitable: bagels here less sweet (so sesame shone more), slightly cheaper, more irregularly shaped & browner, & more sesame seeds here. - Gabriel Seah
