This hotel in Xinyi has all the signature W touches—thumping bass in the lobby; shag rugs and tilde-shaped leather chaises; a pool scene that doesn’t quit—and a young staff in slick black suits.

Wonderful rooms, modern and functional. Excellent breakfast quality, although selection smaller than 5 star standard. Bar is very clubby, they would also need a place for a relaxed drink.

The best W Hotel I have ever stayed at. The service is phenomenal and the rooms are fresh. Sets the bar for the entire brand.

The entrance is around the corner of city hall MTR. Once you enter, take elevator to 10th floor to check in and then take a different elevator to your room.

If you don't like «old-school» style of Grand Hyatt, it's definitely for you. Loved their floor-to-ceiling windows and which is more important a sitting place right near the window.

Oh it's definitely a party hotel . Its vibrant colours, use of materials rival that of its competitors and yes there have been police raids on the parties that have been held here.

Best choice of stay in Taipei. Convenient transportation here, best department stores around and an eslite bookstore less than 1 mins.

In the elevators from the ground floor to the lobby, move your eyes left and right quickly while looking at the walls for a psychedelic experience!

a bit losing the edge compared to the past. That’s why some area (like buffet restaurant in 10th floor ) is under renovation. Not bad to stay. Location-wise, excellent!

Best W I've been to. Staff is super friendly and not stuffy at all! Makes you feel completely at home.

The aesthetics of the hotel are great, but not the quietest place to stay. woobar is free for guests if not, 1800NT for entry. Concierge aka wherever whatever desk is extremely helpful.

Went to Dim Sum Lunch on the upper floor away from the buffet , food was ok, customer service levels questionable and not 5 star for W hotel

Make sure you take time for the fantastic spa and book breakfast included.

For winter, they covered the pool and replaced it with a ice rink!!! Free ice skating for hotel guests!!!
