On the first floor of this 18th-century mansion you can admire the oeuvre of the multi-talented Bruges-British artist Frank Brangwyn. He painted realistic, life-like scenes. The ground floor of the building is used for exhibitions of expressive art, usually in association with the Groeningemuseum.

This museum is often overlooked because it doesn't have any Flemish primitives. If you're interested in more modern art in Bruges this is for you.
Not worth the money.
There is lots of choice for art books and things relevant to expositions in the Groeninge museum and the Arentshuis. - Haroen Viaene
An interesting look at an historical hospital that used to be operated by nuns. A stunning collection of horror tools from ancient medicine, an historical pharmacy and paintings by Hans Memling. - Hans
What's not good here? Amazing world famous paintings , great setting , a must if you even only remotely like art - Filip D.
It really is one of the best museums you can visit for its size. Lots of interesting art pieces. Gratis als je in Brugge woont. De museumkampen zijn ook heel tof. - Haroen Viaene
Amazing place. Ifs not my fav is in on list. The view is gorgeous, and everything is perfectly detailed. - Paulo Ricardo da Silva Scalabrini
The views are amazing. The stairwell is very tiny, especially at the top. Large people, large footed people, or people with backpacks will have a very hard time. - DSquirrely
