Hiked up 5 miles to the bridge and then back for bungee jumping! Awesome hike - it was beautiful. But I got SO dehydrated. Bring a water filter or a couple of bottles per person!!!
Huge forest just at the doorstep of Los Angeles. If you are looking to get away from the city , take a trip to the Angeles National Forest. There are tons of trails , vistas, and even a ski lift!
Great views when you get high up but the “moderate” trail involved pretty sheer drops and poorly maintained routes for hours. And the government shutdown is making it worse.
Wow what a drive up don't scratch off your day pass till you find a parking space we didn't so there was five bucks up the door lol still a spectacular view and down loved it

The hike back up will kill you ;)
Good beginner hike, ~5.4 miles round trip. Popular. Free street parking, dog friendly (leashed), great view. Ocean & Catalina visible on clear days. Continue up to Inspiration Point for a longer hike. - Randy Clemens
nice place for a campout. - Scout Society
Come to this park with your kids even on a hot day. The 2 playgrounds have major shades in place to make sure you don't get burned. Obviously use sunscreen but it's a really nice playground. - Nathan Miles
