Must visit for a one of a kind downtown experience. This place feels like you are having drinks in someones cool house. Very unique atmosphere.

Love the homemade Bloody Marys and Bloody Mary bar here. My fav time to come is during Farmers' Market Saturdays , when it opens at 10 a.m. and is filled by 10:30.

Howard is the best bartender in the place! Love it here!

Kind of an odd, mixed crowd the night I was there, but I definitely enjoyed myself. Beers were affordable , Brandy Old Fashioned was tasty.

Don't tell ANYONE at the bar that you support Scott Walker. You WILL be detained by police , cited for disorderly conduct, and asked "what's your religion," among other questions. No lie.

Hippies galore and idiotic bumper stickers posted to the wall they think everyone in Madison has the same opinion. Would be okay minus the holier than thou attitude (PS I'm currently smelling BO)

The outside patio is great but the bathrooms are petri dishes for virulent strains of STIs.

Amazing bar , great vibe, great jukebox with good classics (Beatles, Talking Heads, etc...) and awesome bathroom graffiti .
