Very cheap seats for every play. The guided tour (eng, ita, spa ..) is very recommended too. Dont pay the picture fee, you will be able to take them anyway (the leaders doesnt stop anyone)

Magnificent performance , pure sound, talented actors, incredible interior. Note: in winter cloakroom is used for extra fee. Better to book tickets beforehand, otherwise standing only are available.

If you have a box seat , you can take your upper clothes with you, there is a place for it. Don't forget to visit the balcony facing Andrasi on the second floor and enjoy. The place is magic!

You can find really cheap tickets for ballet , for as little as 1500 HUF. Easy to order, everything is on their website.

Tour in English usually run at 15:00 and 16:00. If your are attending to a performance , you may skip the tour as the greatest thing is the interiors.

MUST SEE! Try to buy tickets for a play or for a rehearsal a few hours before. They are really cheap (400ft)!! That way you see the interior avoiding the expensive tours ..

Great and beautiful place. Only criticism would that they regularly perform operas in Hungarian instead of original language with surtitles lacking humour/nuances.

Must see in Budapest, but be warned they will require you to pay an additional 500 HUF for a wristband that allows you to take photographs , in addition to the admission/tour fee.

Highly recommend the tour as it's breathtakingly beautiful and our guide was both hilarious and informative.

Terrace is very nice place sorting a break, don't resist to drink a cop of coffee and feel Budapest night.

Gorgeous building on Andrassy Avenue, style, culture, entertainment in one place

The building is incredible. The performance of "fledermaus" a disaster with bad humour on top of continuously missing subtitles.

Do the tour . It includes a mini concert at the end.

You can enter and have an idea if you really want to spend money to see it all.

For a little extra $ you get a truly lovely 10 minute recital by an up and comer.
