Nice and intimate as for service I would give them a little break. Some of the servers are NEW and have not got the rhythm of their job. But they all are pleasant. Must try their Crab Cake and Grit
Every one is unique with a different vibe. The food is tasty and affordable . It's a great spot to grab eats at any time of the day. My favorite is the one on U St with Brookland a close second.
While we are just older + disabled (deaf) customers, most of people are young but we love young + interesting environment from Busboys and Poets restaurant . We even get superb service from it... Thx
Key lime pie and the pecan cake is the best! The food is really good and kinda healthy too. Love the vibe.
Good menu esp. for a mixed crowd of omnivores, vegans , etc. Generally nice vibe & space here; solid coffee drinks. Nachos are a good table pleaser! Usually pleasant staff and ok service.
Brunch is a great deal. Portions are large, local organic food is great, and they have an awesome Bloody Mary .

Food was good.Music was good.Service was definitely subpar. Took 20 minutes to even see a waiter.Couldn’t get a side salad order correct. Plates were scorching hot, runner didn’t give a heads up.ouch!
