Classic English in everything, from the compact room with basic services, to the classic tub and basin, to English breakfast . Bad luck I got a room with courtyard view which was depressing

A hotel , which was imperial and very good perhaps 50 years ago. The room was outdated, tiny and noisy . The breakfast selection ok, but nothing special. However, the staff was very helpful.

Dated decor, useless wifi and breakfast you should definitely miss. It is cheap tho and in a great location

The coffee at breakfast is reasonable for filter coffee . But you should avoid the sausages

Got into my room to find carpet was pulled up, a screw and loose fitting on the table and my phone didn't work. Was bumped up to the exec suite but this was just a larger room with sofa . Not impressed

It's fine for the price. The staff seem friendly . It's far better than most of the hotels in Torquay!

Pay the extra for an Exec room.

Rooms are ok. Big chairs, can be a bit dark. Nice black and white carpet.

It's budget...you DO have wifi problems and the coffee IS horrible (better is U add more milk ) but its a place to sleep & fairly clean so ok

OK as a budget bed to crash in Central London - free wifi useless, but poached eggs at breakfast ;)

It's not _that_ bad. Fairly clean rooms , friendly service except from the scary cleening lady, edible breakfast . Wifi is crappy though.

Avoid it. I've travelled a lot an have seen a lot, but I can not understand how in something like that can survive. The bed should be called hammock .

Not bad, not good but the rooms are ok, the breakfast is ok, the staff are ok and the price is more honest than the Hotel Russell...

Avoid this place! Tatty 1970 style rooms. Poor quality decor and bathroom/shower facilities.Can tell the place hasn't been renovated in years due to the stale smoke smell lingering around the place.

Avoid like the plague! Friend of mine stayed there a few months back, and also groups of delegates. Major bed bug issues
