Love the perfect hot choc ! If you happen to order big breakfast , pls don't ask for sunny side up egg - overcooked n not done well . The King- banana-peanut butter cake is really nice, not too filling!

Nice ambience but can be noisy when there's big crowd. Excellent service , they serve with smiles! Iced choc a tad pricey with the small size but the cake is fantastic (I had Black Velvet ). Come try!

The big breakfast RM32 , potato waffle RM22 . Everything taste so good! should give it a try although it's consider quite pricey ;)Love the potato waffle !!

One of the best breakfast places I have ever been. Coffee ( cappuccino or black) is made by people know how to do it. Very tasty food. Big and average breakfast , avocado toast and scandi sandwich ❤️

Like everyone said: awesome coffee and staff . King cake is delicious as well . Had the Yirgacheffe on V60 and it was awesome! Their flat white is perfect as well , nice balance of acidity and sweetness.

Big Breakfast . Perfect for that huge hunger. Not too much. I'm not a huge salad eater but damn I could eat a whole plate of that salad !!! The dressing so on point ????. Right amount of everything.

Top: Scandi; Bottom: big bfast . Well-balanced flavours in the Scandi, perfectly seasoned. Big breakfast was a little on the ordinary side but impeccable poached eggs ???????? 11/10 would come again!

Although a little on the pricey side, food is top notch. It's made from scratch, where else can you get that nowadays? Combined with cosy ambience & high-end specialty coffee . Personal favourite.

Best French toast in town , I think. They use pannatone bread so it doesn't get soggy and weepy but maintains its' shape. Also served w a huge scoop of ice cream and crunchy crumbly biscuit pieces

Ordered VCR brekkie , they did the scramble eggs the way I like it. Great ambiance, very lively and cool interior. Polite staffs . Do come early as this place always full with people.

Simple and nice ambient in the kl city centre. Friendly baristas . For me the latte is little mild for me, piccolo latte just nice. Can have a try their signature 'the king' cake .

a lil cafe that is perfectly hidden behind the Swiss Garden Residence. Great place to have a cuppa coffee with a beautiful concept. Try the famous Blueberry & Lemon Curd cheese cake

VCR is without a doubt my favourite breakfast spot in all of KL. Try their range of delicious pies and breakfast options . Great free wifi and piwer sockets.

I like the idea where the cafe utilizes an old building contrasting the modern simplistic interior. Cafe is busy so expect a wait during peak hours for seats. Good coffee and lemon curd cheesecake .

"Surf and turf " is so good too! Thick smoked salmon slices with hints of truffle oil and cheese on top of the salad and scrambled egg .. and their perfect toast bread ???? Added to my must-order list!

You won’t go wrong with Big Breakfast and their quiche is savoury! ???????? Not really liking the potato waffles but will definitely revisit to try out something else!

Very cosy place to sit and chill or work here. Great lemonades , coffee and cakes ! Get up the stairs, there is bigger space to sit. Worth to visit! :)

Great food, great coffee , and amazing service! I ordered Avocado Toast and a Latte .:) It could be a little noisy when there’s a lot of people, but it’s not a big thing.

A really cosy cafe that's great to chill at or to get some work done. Their soft shell crab burger is super satisfying! If you're not too hungry, you can ask for just the crab on its own.

Impressed w/ the ambience. Service was excellent despite the restaurant at full capacity. A place to relax & catch up w/ friends or simply past time. Food was great. Better than Antipodean in my view .

Awesome place!!! The peanut banana cake must try, i dun like banana cake before but totally fall in love with their cake !! The most aroma latte i had, thumb up!!!

Besides crowded with hipster wannabe during their peak hours.I genuinely enjoy their high quality coffee beans,tasty foods and attentive staffs.Their standard has been persistent since my 1st visit.

The big breakfast is really hearty. Beautifully poached eggs , tomatoes on the vine, sausages , beef bacon . Coffee is quite good too. Upstairs has a smoking area and music . Air conditioning is cold!

The Unagi Affair is a croissant with Japanese eel . Very unique & simply divine! Even the side salad with eggs are good. Portion is a bit too small though.

A very spacious and cozy cafe . Come here quite often to enjoy good coffee . Food is served in big portions and delicious. Pick the right time to come as it can sometimes be packed.

Coffee is amazing. I’ve tried the Turkish eggs and surf and turf , both were generous in their serves and so tasty. Try the French toast too!

The French toast is a must try too! Very specially homemade toasts, with homemade espresso ice cream I suppose? And the crunchy bites as sideline.. It all blends well yums ????

Exceptional coffee . Great selection of beans for filter cofee but even simple long black was just spectacular. Also very good food. Don’t miss croissant cause it’s just perfect.

Excellent cup of cappuccino w/o the need for sugar to go with the black velvet is recommended (A change from the usual Red) in a warehouse like interior with an all glass setting on the top floor.

This is my third time come here and first try their breakfast . It is nice and quite big portion ! Latte is smooth enough. Potato waffle is delicious too! U are worth it try them!

Peanut butter chocolate banana cake !! The best cake i had in 2014 which inspired me to try make one myself! Latte's are good. Big groups can sit at huge tables on the top floor

Other than limited parking provided and cappuccino milk portion is a little too much, everything is good. Quiche tasted good. Comfortable environment. Quiet enough to enjoy the music . Good service . ????

Cake was awesome and worth a detour, namely king cake . Coffee was excellent too. However, breakfast menu was slightly dissapointing. Overall good experience!

"The King" is indeed heavenly, feel like eating banana cake with peanut butter jam but creamer :) Cuppacino is smooth and not that strong for me, nice cuppa nonetheless

It was a last-minute decision to VCR and as expected, it was awesome! The environment and atmosphere were great, 'The King Cake ' is a must try. Will definitely have my second visit! ☺️

Turkish eggs are really good. Delicately poached eggs on firm chick peas and tomato puree with sour cream . Just great.

Order 'The King', a delicious peanut butter banana choc cake with a cup of flat white . Breakfast dishes such as the Potato Waffle is pretty good too.

Great place to grab breakfast , especially if you need a change from local food. Sit upstairs, it’s got plenty of light.

Loved the VCR Big Breakfast . Ingredients tasted premium so even though it's a tad on the pricey side, it's worth every penny.
