One of the of the best rustic designed café , filled with beautiful sunlight and good vibe. Menu looks interesting. Had Roti Jala with kaya toast ice-cream, surprisingly good! Strong coffee , I love it!
Great place to have a quiet time for yourself while enjoying the coffee . I love their deco and the rustic look. Do come early if u want to get the best spot here. Great place for a date.
Unique fusion menu & environment, I would prefer to sit at the back cause it's more comfy but there's no aircond. Staffs are friendly , food taste good. Would pay for a second visit.
Loving the ambience here and their rose honey milk is yums! But their food is only so so. Too bad they are out of their off menu dessert 'better than sex '. Will be back to try it out!
Impressme they serve good latte , smooth milk foam with light roast bean, cup of good value coffee to me in Petaling Street.Environment and decoration have to experience by own, stylish and shine to me
Ordered Kai Fan 4.0 (4.5 out of 5), the mistress-burger (4.5 out of 5) and butter chicken pasta (4.5 out of 5).. Nice and cozy ambience , comfortable place for chillex.. Highly recommended 👍👍
There was a queue out the door at lunch but it moved pretty quickly. Many items on the menu looked appetising . We had the recommend South China Sea but the Nasi Lemak pancakes was a hands down winner!
super popular cafe due to the awesome rustic interior. the coffee is good, jasmine black is recommended. food is pretty special and taste awesome, portion is pretty big too.
The mistress is pretty good. Big portion of burger and brinjal fries (can be shared). Of course rose tea is delicious too
1st timer, queue is long since is one of the top instagrammed cafe in the heart of KL. I ordered Salmon fish , the portion is big and worth the value. And please add some sauce please is too dry.
South China Sea ! I will come back and retry again. I visit to here during first day of Bersih4.0. The mood make me can't enjoy my breakfast very well so we all can't finish our foods...
Beggar's Rice . Shout out to fans of fusion dishes. Interesting medley of broccoli , ikan pari cooked in Malay style asam pedas , fragrant turmeric butter rice & top with oozy cheese
Really enjoyed the hongkey beef stew & mantis roll w brinjal fries ! They also serve a pretty kick ass carrot cake 🍰
Eat die me- the portion is as big as it sounds. you can choose the sausages (chicken/lamb/beef) & the way you like your eggs to be done (scrambled/poached/sunny side up).
Overall experience is good. South China Sea is a little dry, butter chicken pasta is nice and the portion is pretty big. Cake is sightly too sweet. The queue can be long so come early!
signature drink : rose honey milk which smells & tastes good. it's not too mild nor too strong. it's just fine. 👌 but personally think it's been overpriced (RM12).
This hidden gem is instaworthy beautiful & historic. Had south china sea & bolognese , it was okay. But the superfood tea is delicious imo. Will come back again.
Really nice and rustic environment they have there! A new hideout spot for kl peeps! Cant wait to try their earl grey espresso which is still not available yet 💕
The ambience is so jungle and old, really amazing. There is air-con sections and open air section. Perfect place for chit chat and relax.
I had a great feeling of satisfaction everytime Visiting this place. Alluring and creative designs make the place look fantastic. Cool and tasteful food makes you crave for more.
Highly recommended new cafe n diner , hipsterish feel and great local delights fusion - mmm! And afterwards do check out speakeasy just next door.
A seemingly good place to hangout. Quite difficult to actually locate the place, but totally worth it👍 The dishes are unique and delicious. Price is an eyesore, as if paying for the hipster deco😂
If you are feeling adventurous, give the jasmine long black a go. It'll surprise you with an uplifting jasmine scent. As you sip, your palate will welcome a tea-like texture with clean aftertaste
Now if only the walls could talk, I wonder what they would divulge! Apparently used to be a brothel. I was here for 1 sole reason only: to satisfy my sweet tooth with : Better Than Sex...
Really love the environment & deco here! Can't leave without taking a few pics for sure!
If you are adventurous, try the jasmine long black. You will be 1st greeted by the calming scent of jasmine. As you sip, the coffee washed over your palate with tea-like mouth feel
Best interior amongst the cafes in KL, light & airy. There's still room for improvement on food and drink. / 5* for design & effort; 3* for food; 2* for value.
Pay for the environment and ambience. Hipster hang out place for picture, but the details and design of cafe do catch your eyeball. Fusion menu for local and travellers, portion is good
itadakimas pancake- not your usual pancake . a rather unique pancake that will stimulate your taste buds the moment you see it. to me, the taste wasn't superb but good.
Beautiful place with the rustic style. Loved their rose honey milk . Their pecan maple cake was nice but a little too sweet.
Tried butter chicken pasta and it’s so good. The portion is so big. Will try their signature on my next visit
A place full of nostalgia and memorable experience of old street in Kuala Lumpur. Food is rather good in appropriate portion. And the coffee is awesome.
Not easy to find, but once you walk up the stairs to this first floor café , you'll find a beautiful, cozy place. I had a great matcha latte here.
Worth to pay a visit. Love the rusty concept and meeting cafe lovers there with the same mood.
Rose tea and salte caramel peanut butter cake was nice, lovely ambience. The staff should be a little more helpful maybe.
Creative dishes. Prices were on the high side (touristy area). Food 8/10. South China Sea is worth a try! RM29
Pipits nest (RM16) This is a deep fried brinjal, onion rings and chicken tenders with cheesy sauce and mayonnaise . Iove the taste but too little chicken tender in it. So for me, it's kinda pricey !
Honey Rose Milk is to die for, super fragrant. Note : the interior here is great for pictures
Tried rose honey milk and several dishes. All of them are yummy! And the prices are affordable
Few good places in KL that serves good coffee and great food!
Old house style café , really nice cool place to take a city break at. Had Coffee and kalau aku kaya dessert .. Yum.
A good chillax place with nice interior, cozy and spacious . Improvements are needed for food wise but I don't get the hype for rose honey milk , kinda overprice too
I walked past this place twice before finding the humble door leading up tot the restaurant . Coffee was good, as was the South China Sea salmon , but it was cold by the time it got to me.
One of KL's prettiest cafes dishes out some pretty great food too. The burger was fantastic
rose honey milk is just so heavenly! will definitely come back for a second visit, love the ambience of the place!
Super fruit lemon tea . Slightly sweet & tangy . Obvious champion in the thirst quenching beverage category.
South China Sea is awesome! Such an amazing dish with a variety of texture. Every ingredient complemented the other.
Very loud makes my head dizzy with the noises and seats are uncomfortable.... No pandan taste for this "better than sex" dessert
This place has a LOT of potential, such a nice interior and friendly staff . The food was a letdown, though, it was only lukewarm. It could have been so nice if it were warmer!
Environment is rustic chic , insta-worthy and food is quite good. Only prob is the parking . Paid freaking rm20 just to visit this place. Sighh
