A multi-block walking mall set in the historic downtown district of Charlottesville. With tons of restaurants and shopping , this is the perfect place for tourists and townies alike!

Make sure to go to the transportation building by the NTelos Pavilion to get 2 hours of free parking at the Water St or Market St garages .

Great dance clubs and show venues are at this location after dark. The Cruxshadows show I saw here was amazing.

If you're hungry and on a budget try Marco & Lucas, Christians Pizza , The Nook, Bagby's or one of the great street vendors.

Awesome place! Mud house has awesome coffee , and don't miss the cat house down the alley

During the summer, there is a free concert and various vendors at the Pavilion on Friday evenings. it's a fun time.

The Flat Creperie on Waterstreet, behind the Jefferson is great. Try the spinach , ham garlic jarlsberg etc crepe , you'll love it. I do.

From omni hotel to bus stand ... this is home to some amazing restaurants & history ...

Be sure to try the great restaurants off the main mall too. Revolutionary Soup has great fare.

Just love this place in the spring! But not in the rain!

You can almost always find a live show somewhere downtown!

A 2 hour parking pass is one thing, but if you want to spend the day downtown, take the bus . $1.50 for a day pass.

Fridays after 5. Beer truck is manned by volunteers for their cause. Come buy beer .

I feel at home in Hooville.
