The atmosphere is relaxed, dark (lighting), and friendly . It's right on the pedestrian mall downtown. Parking close by. I had a medium brewed coffee and give it high marks. Play chess in the window!

Mudhouse is good stuff. The stuff on tap is usually fruity , so dark roast fans beware (or ask for a pour over of something).

Say some snobby about their coffee but at least these know their coffee . Best beans in the area for sure. Fun vibes at TNT latte art competitions!

Knowledgable , friendly baristas + freshly roasted coffee make this the best coffee place in town . Fun playlists, too.

If you work on the Downtown Mall , you'll probably end up here around 3pm everyday. Love the cappuccinos , ambiance, and chalkboard sign out front!

One of the best coffee places in town . Great coffee , food, service. There's WiFi and its very comfy . That been said everybody knows that and that's the reason why it's always crowded .

Newly redesigned building, this is one of the first quality coffee shops to grace Charlottesville. These guys know their java.

Best mocha I’ve ever drank

Make sure to find a favorite barista who you like, and learn their schedule. It will more than reward you in quality and service.

Awesome atmosphere and good selection. Get the French Press and say hi to the barista for me :)

Try the vegan power balls! Very filling and probably the most delicious thing you'll eat all day.

Solid spot for coffee and tea downtown

Good coffee but not a great option if you just want to grab a cup to go. Be prepared to wait in line 10 minutes.
