The plaza had a fountain once near the JFK building. The area was covered with plywood and 2X6's and then paved to make it level. Check out historical Google Earth images. Would b neat 2 see old pics.

I remember all the traffic rotaries in Boston which can make driving through intersections quite interesting! The historical US Navy ship Old Ironsides was a great site to visit.

Either you like it or you don't part of town . To some it is a model of innovation whereas to others it is simply ugly.
Compare this brutal building to 2 others- the old state house (used as city hall in 1830) and Old City Hall (1840) on the freedom trail .
