Awesome pub with very friendly staff , great food, great Bloody Marys , great Eggs Benedict, great music playing in the background. I could literally live here!

Fixed price menu is great value but not great food. Fish pie was quite dry, and sausages seemed like economy range. But salted chocolate tart is proper yummy. And vibe is nice.

Come on a Sunday they have a special menu. Had the pork loin , with mac and cheese and cauliflower/cheese. Sides were plenty to share. Reasonable price. Excellent quality.

Friendly staff , good beers and amazing scotch egg .

Lovely bar , not rammed with tourists as you might have thought given the location. Seems like a decent local with a few nice beers on tap . Bit pricey though.

Proper English pub . Sit by the fireplace and have a pint of cask ale .

After complaining about a severely burnt roast, we were offered the food for free and two drinks. Excellent and polite service .

The staff are always friendly and the food is much improved, and the French DJ on a Sunday is amazing.

Inflexible re dietary requirements. Served risotto with cream when specified I was vegan , without advising they could not adapt dish.

Try Australian Shiraz , it's great here!

If you enjoy your food being burnt to a crisp then by all means this pub is for you. Don't want a charcoal black pile of rubble & instead want something cooked properly, staff policy I'm afraid.

Order two rounds at a time as it gets busy. But the food is good.

Order the pork pie with piccalilli - you won't be sorry!

Try the Fru-Garden (half Fruli and half Hoegaarden) lovely...

Try the chilean sauvignon blanc

Super slow service and very difficult to catch their attention. One way is to call the waiter by telephone but even that sometimes doesn't work! It is sad because it could be a good place

Really pleasant place! Great service and fun atmosphere !

Spent half an hour waiting for service. Left really angry. The worst place to go, really. Just change your mind and go to McDonald's, which is way more friendly than this hole.

They pour Russian Standard Vodka - not bad for a pub ...

Tip? Leave some time to be served as bar service here can often be poor
