One of my favorite breweries ... Food is good here and they try to use local ingredients , but what is best is they serve many beers that they only make available in Hawaii. Like Lavaman Red Ale .

Slow on Sundays during football season until 5pm when they have live music . Get their beer of the week for $3.75/pint! Also check out the free tours at 10:30am and 3pm - get there early to sign up.

Take the brewery tour & sample at the end. The food was super fresh & tasty. They use the spent grain from brewing to make all the dough ; what they can't use they give away to local farmers for free.

Bangers and mash and turkey pesto were delicious but no pictures because it was gone too fast. And of course the beers are great too. They do offer beer pairings with many of the dishes.

The original Kona Brewing company brewery . Grab lunch or dinner , with gourmet pizzas and sandwiches . Drink a specialty brew only offered here. Later, pick up Kona Brewing merchandise as a souvenir.

We stopped in before our flight home from our honeymoon. We shared a pizza and the fish tacos . Beers were had and it was a great atmosphere to spend out last few hours. Wouldn't change a thing!

A great spot to stop for a beer . It's ridiculous trying to get in here, so consult your map app before trying to eyeball the route in.

Get your beer and pizza fix here. Ask for the seasonal brews - the ginger and lemongrass infused beer was fantastic. The Puna Pie rocked with large chunks of roasted garlic and smoked mozzarella .

Don't bother with the other entrees - just get a salad and pizza . They're all good, but my go-tos are Kohala, Kau Pesto and Puna Pie . Don't forget the beer !

Fun, nice atmosphere, great beer and food! I like the wings , and all the beers are great. Get a flight or go exotic . Nothing much gluten free except salads , though

Even on a rainy dreary day, it's great. Servers cheerful and helpful. Food was delicious. Had the BBQ Chic sandwich , wife the Shrimp sandwich . Fantastic chips . Get the beer sampler . Heck, get two.

The tour is a steal. $5 for 4 beer samples , a souvenir glass, and a lot of knowledge . The restaurant also serves amazing food.

Stopped over at Kona Pub & Brewery . Had a delicious Pizza and a Hanalei IPA beer . Great service. Highly recommend this place with aloha flair. Try it out for yourself.

Please, if you like pepperoni , peppers and a little spice, do yourself a favor and get the Pepperoni Ali'i! Oh and try as many of their beers as you can, I couldn't find one I didn't like!!

Sadly, the Cubano is not on the menu anymore but the sliders totally make up for it. The terrace rocks, and on Sunday after 5 PM it literally rocks 

Quite possibly the best Poke ' I have ever had! The beer with a hint of passion fruit is light crips and so smooth!

Delicious Ahi Poke ! I got a sampler for the beer - I enjoyed Koko Brown and Pipeline Porter a lot. But unfortunately the Kanaha Blonde was too watery, and the Wailua Wheat has an unpleasant taste.

Oh, man, the beer ! Frickin' fantastic! The long wait is my only complaint. Everything else was top-notch. Great food, excellent service, and did I mention the beer ?!!?

If you're alone, just head to the bar , find a seat, and talk to locals, visitors, and staff . Great place to get to know people and have good food and beer !

Big beer selection , you'll definitely find something you'll want. The place is always packed. Pricey but hey you're on vacation, so enjoy.

Pretty close to the airport , we grabbed a tasting flight and some lunch . Perfect way to relax into your arrival at the big island . Lots of outdoor seating .

Best value around, big portions of amazing food at affordable prices . Get the nachos and any pizza , you won't be disappointed.

If you get a pizza I recommend getting the spicy marinara sauce that comes on the pele pizza either on the pizza or on the side it's great!! Wash it down with a fire Rock pale ale to add to make epic.

I love this place! Everything is so tasty! Wailua wheat is my fav beer . Pizza and nachos are also highly recommended!

the kalua pork pizza was amazing! I recommend trying one of the beers you can't get in a bottle back home, like the black sands porter .

The Garden pizza is amazing! So are the nachos which are huge and deliciously toasted

Get a flight to try all the beers not sold on the mainland. Recommend splitting a pizza with your ohana and pals. Expect a wait for dinner

One of few fancy places for dinner , great food, possibility of beer tasking (9$ for 4 small glasses of your choice). Waiting list to get there.

The Black Sand Porter is the best if you’re a dark beer fan! Also the pork tacos are delicious.

Definitely take the tour if you have the chance. The staff are super knowledgeable .

Fantastic place for brews! You can get a table outside or come inside and drink at the bar .

Loved the $9 slice and salad option on the menu. $9 beer sampler was great. Live music and a great time. Could have spent all afternoon here :)

Your favorite Kona beers will taste different here because this is one of the few (only?) spots to get Kona beer brewed on the island rather than the mainland.

The Chocolate Macadamia Nut Stout was delicious with the Porterhouse Dip and pepperoni pizza .

Try the shrimp melt or Chipotle Chorizo Queso - you won't be disappointed either way! Wash anything down with a brewski of course!

Best nachos I've ever had! And I love that you can create your own pizzas with such a big variety of toppings!

Guacamole dip tastes GREAT. Best one I ever had in restaurants . Cannot stop ordering another pint :)

Great atmosphere and friendly service . Shrimp sandwich and Imu pork sandwich were delicious. Beer was excellent.

Mauna Loa spinach salad with chicken is terrific. Gluten free choice and they offer 2 gluten free beers by Omission. What a treat.

Joined the brewing tour , the guide will explain anything bout Kona beer brewing and enjoy the beer tasting. My fave: Longboard + blackened tuna sashimi + pizza (the dough made from the beer yeast)

Pepperoni rolls are amazing. You can get food to go if you don't want to wait forever for a table.

Best beer in the state . Any and all of it. The Lavaman and the Longboard are amazing in particular.
